On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8. - Ігри

DAY25: F35 vs SU57
How long does the GSFC3 code last, I want to get into DCS with the F15C, but I also need to buy a flight stick, and I am still looking for one that is good. I have a budget in total of about 200$, so not much
i geuss B- stands for VERH - up/top. B in rus is V. And H i geuus stands for NIZ. BOTTOM/DOWN. H is N in rus.
Firstly: does this work for steam users?
Secondly: NGAD vs F-15 ACTIVE plzkthx
SU-57 vs F-15 ACTIVE, dogfight, guns only plzkthx
The MiG-29 has a really cool aesthetic. I can't really explain it I just love how it looks
I love the fat wings with the rounded tips and big ass intakes on the belly
Same
I can't disagree. It looks so beautiful
To me the Mig-29 looks like hybrid of an F14 and F18
Agree, always liked it
I loved seeing the BVR engagement naturally turn into the merge, love these long engagements
you could say it has come to the triarii
@@delfinenteddyson9865 spearmen?
@@0neBadRabbit
Yes, triarii is the elite unit in the manipular legion in the early Roman Republic, using spears as their main weapon.
Thanks! SUCH an impressive mission. I don't play but watch literally every video you post. It's similar to watching a musician work. You're talented and very kind and articulate. I must admit that it's also entertaining to watch your older videos where your mouth spits certain four letters in certain situations. I laugh every time. "OH SHIT!" LOL.
Thanks for sharing and hope you're making a deserved living from your content.
EXCELLENT creator.
Thank you very much for your support and your kind words, this channel would be nothing without subs like yourself. Much Love.
I think the Flanker is the most beautiful aircraft ever designed. I’m an F-15 fanboy, but damn the SU-27 is such a brilliant looking aircraft.
Yeah, and also the Su-35, which doesn't have that radar antenna at the front, making it look even better
The whole Flanker family has great looks, especially some of the prototype airframes
It's interesting that some of the best-looking aircraft of any era are usually some of the nicest-looking/aesthetically pleasing aircraft of their times (and often remain so to the aircraft aficionado).
@@Official.ORIENTCAVALIER "that radar antennae"
It's a pitot tube, not an antenna
But what about the mikoyan family?
It really is like a twin engine F-16. I used to never care for the Mig-29 but it's growing on me to see you use it. It reminds me of the fighter jet equivalent of a Zeon Zaku.
Nice. Like a Zaku 1. Older but still deadly in the hands of a good pilot.
Nice comparison
@@miletello1 thank you lol it's fitting.
The BVR engagement, close-quarters dogfight, and the landing all with fuel in mind made this video special for me. Thank you!
Longer fights that end with a merge are the best!! New favorite dogfight.
Nice! My dad is a retired Polish MiG-29 pilot, and now flys an f-35 for the USAF!
Hej, Sokoły!!
Sorry to say, but I highly doubt that.If so, is he in Service for the Polish Air Force to change from Mig 29 to F35 and the USAF is the teaching Party inside this Situation?
@@Wuestenkarsten Yes, that is pretty close to what is happening…
He is being trained by the USAF to fly new f-35 because the mig-29 is getting older. It is wierd, because he is part of the USAF, and the PAF.
Outstanding. Is he bringing them to Poland?
Finally! GS is flying a 29 with Polish markings! Never thought I would live to see the day ;)
As a polish person, its nice to see a vehicle that serves in my countrys air force. Keep up the good work!
cieszy mnie kiedy widzę polskich fanów lotnictwa :D Pozdrawiam
Pozdrawiam z Katowic
Wow, pumpin' them out lately. Thanks for the entertainment!
Great video, one of your very best. Tense, real sense of jeopardy, ace flying skills and patience. Loved the whole story.
I know it would make the video longer but could we get a tacview on some of these BVR’s. I would like to see what the other guy does and where these missiles actually go. Great video as always!
He has plenty already. He's been posting these dogfight videos a lot recently, and I think it's like sales work for new DCS players because I don't recall him ever consistently promoting these DCS promos.
@@laserdan he used to do this in earlier videos. You can still watch them. I just think that GS just wanted to streamline video production and cut these repetetive sections because in many cases these tacviews looked simmilar to each others
I'm with Jaredc1 I like the TacView's too. Yacob and Der Fliegen bring up good points - but I would still like to see the TacView.
I don't even play DCS but I have watched almost all of your videos, great work!
Fr
I was the same way till about a week ago when I saw his video showing how its really not all that hard to get started in the f16. once you figure out what things mean, things start to make a lot of sense.
same
Great to see the landing, too! Love it when you show the completion phase, too. Not very easy to get that bird to the fight, survive it, and then get it back home again! It'd be great to show more of this type of fight.
This was a brilliant duel! I love the Fulcrum, it's (sort of) like a splice of a flanker and a hornet (my other two favourites) with f16 characteristics. You flew it beautifully, Crank did a great job defending too
Really good vid GS, edge of the seat stuff yet again! So much work must go into them, thanks for all you do, it's much appreciated by me and I'm sure the rest of the community.
That's why as a pilot knowing your strength and weakness is important. The su-27 pilot could have just shoot his r-27er before the merge. Not to mention he should have ditched the dogfight at that moment.
He shot before the merge. But GS got lucky with the flares
@@Niko-qs1sl Read my comment again
@@jeffkam2153 The 27 didn't have any R27ER's though, he used all of his R-77s in the BVR fight and he only had Fox-2s left.
@@MyreTortilla 16:35 check the payload on the Su-27.
It's cool seeing the landing afterwards when the trip home is kind of in question (heavy damage, no gas in the tank etc)
That's was a great fight! I've come across a few dcs based channels through yours. I have to say that the reason I watch yours so much more is because of your knowledgeable breakdowns of the fight, lingo and tactics. Thanks G.s
Thank you very much, I appreciate you
Wow. They even modeled the fact that the Fulcrum's intakes close to prevent foreign object ingestion while on the ground. Nice to see that little attention to detail.
GS be like coming back at base and would go "oh, yeah, we spent like 2,5 million dollars in AMRAAMs to try and down a Flanker but all we actually needed was a 100$ shell. That's a great win !".
The sound the fulcrum makes when it enters afterburner makes me smile. The whine into the rumbling roar is 👌
Damn good video from start to finish. Loved this. Great flying, and great opponent to fly against. Spectacular finish with the gun kill, and the landing was the cherry on top. Thank you both!
Love your video's, I'm just getting into DCS and waiting on a throttle as I've been on a HOSAS for Star Citizen last few years. Beyond being fun to watch, all your videos are learning sessions as well.
Really nice video, thanks. Having grown up playing sims like Falcon 3.0 and its MiG-29 sister version (a great wall poster came with that box), it's amazing to see how far the tech has come. I dreamed of having high-res graphics and monitors and head-tracking. Makes me want to get back into simming.
you love the mig, we love the mig, everybody is happy to see a new mig video
Suprised at the lack of polish language comments . These usually sprout en masse under any Poland-related content :P Beautiful plane, especially in polish colours with Kościuszko squadron's emblem. They'll be missed over polish skies, but hopefully Ukrainian pilots can pull some moments of glory for an iconic airframe;)
You don't give yourself enough credit. That wasn't luck, that was "Pilot Shit". Well done.
Great to see POLISH plane on yet another DCS channel :)
Greets z Polski :)
mig 29 is a soviet design
@@Swager825 dont say...
@@Swager825 cmon man, do not offend the feelings of the Poland People with your facts
Man it's a first vid I see from you but by the end I was up my chair and just screamed when you got him! Awesome!
Used to love the old Novalogic game MiG 29 so I've always had a soft spot for the plane, huge nostalgia factor, I enjoyed that first kill sooo much 😄
Okay,I watch pretty much all of your vids, and this is one of the best ones you have done.
Incredible video. I admire your knowledge. I played this game since it was called Lock On, but never actually mastered it entirely. Back then I was a young kid with a lot of time to learn new stuff so In learned basics for Su27 and Mig29, but now it is just to much for me to learn everything else. For racing simulators I like them to be 100 percent realistic, but without a good understanding of what is what here, I enjoy more arcade like flying games, unless it is a MFS with the slow DC3 flying from one airport to another. 🙂
Thanks, great video.
‘go little amraam’ made me lol. i like these longer bvr fights
Thank you sidewinder. I freaking loved it. You did an awesome job as always. You put a huge smile on my face today. Great Great Great video . You are the man.
You should do a video in the F-15EX, load it up with as many 120D's (or even 260's) as it can carry and see how big of a force it can fend off. We all want to see those big TWS volleys!
1 f15ex vs 25 mig 29s when
That was an awesome video man, glad to be subscribed as always🤙🏾
That sound model though, when the burners kicked in during the merge. Love it.
This was a fantastic fight! Great landing clips too.
Got the F16 and FC3 bundle for my first purchase. Love all of the aircraft and got them for about $75 off in total.
Textbook Master Class! In all seriousness, you should be giving lessons at Top Gun! Well done! (former Naval Aviator)
Woah man... what a fight! Excellent flying from Flanker guy too!
That kill was like a goal in soccer 90th minute!
Outstanding fighting and outstanding presentation and teaching! Thanks once again, GS.
One of the best engagements I’ve seen. Instant classic
That had me hooked up till the canopy opened up...great video
Oh ye, according to Max Afterburner, your new callsign is "Blink" 😂
yeah, i saw that vid, haha.
The Mig 29 is a sweet aircraft to dogfight in. It has a large wing area for its size and is very "swoopy" to fly. It was my favorite jet to fly in BF 2 against the F35 and J10 because of that.
I really like the RWR of the '29...seems to present more useful info than western aircraft of its era, especially signal strength and enemy altitude in relation to it.
Your thoughts on that GS?
These are the best kind of vids you make. Longer is better!
I'd really like to a 2v2, 3v3 type situation with yourself and some of the other dcs youtubers. I think it would be really exciting to watch
I love the polish mig-29 design is sick but I prefer the su-27 over the mig-29. I'm polish myself so I love that you picked the polish one
This has been one of the best BVR fight, I enjoyed a lot. ❤
Any Chance we can get to see the Jeff (JF-17) fight the fighter it effectively replaces (F-5E) in the role of inexpensive light fighter in a Fox-2 dogfight?
Bro the Jeff isn’t replacing the f5 as the f5 has been almost completely phased out and you also can’t replace something you never had
@@rowdyace5719 The Jeff was designed from the ground up to fill the same fole as the F-5E: That of the inexpensive, but reasonably capable fighter designed to be exported to other countries (though the only known operator so far is Pakistan iinm). Weapon-wise, they have similar capabilities relative to other, more mainline fighters, such as the F-16.
Yes, the F-5E has largely been phased out of most Air Forces (Iran, notable exception), but in lieu of other aircraft having been produced for said role, I still think it's a fair comparison and would make for an entertaining dogfight.
Worked damn hard for that one. Awesome watch!!!!
I absolutely love the sounds , that howl is music to my ears
My two favorite fighters ever produced.
you're doing an amazing job man keep it up! If i may ask how do you host these 1v1 scenarios in dcs?
I think the beauty of the MiG-29, especially in DCS, it's the simplicity. Most DCS players prefer the high fidelity modules, but the 29 being part of FC3 gives you the same level of satisfaction from playing an F-16/18 but with a fraction of the complexity. You jump in, shoot stuff and come back, don't have to deal with targeting computers, clickable cockpits, MFD modes, just a few dozen hotkeys to control everything.
Absolutely beautiful fight, would love to see the debriefs again!
Some of these DCS scenarios would make for an interesting novel or at least a short story. This vid would be at the top of that list. Running out of ammo, out of fuel, but managing a gun kill!
Great vid on BVR. Thank you for posting.
DUDE!! that was not LUCK, That was EPIC!!
You really make me want to buy VR headset for this game and learn all this plane magic :D
Mig-29, SU-27, F-15, F-16, F-18 Hornet, I love them all.
Fifth gen fighters are all gorgeous eye candies too.
We said "Wow" together. A very satisfying end to a great engagement.
It has been a crazy wonderful journey my man great videos with awesome content from both channels I would like to see mig-29 vs A-10 warthog thank you GS.
Nobody beats a 29 in a telephone booth knife fight, not even the sexiest fighting flying machine out there...
This mission will be nice to have tac explanation?!
Nicely done ✅
Was not expecting a Rocky quote from a fighter jet dogfighting video. "If he dies, he dies."
this video has a very unexplainable feeling that really adds to the immersion
Your channel is so great, thanks for all of these videos!!!
Both the Mig 29 and SU 27 are beautiful aircraft.
"If he dies, he dies..." spoken like a true Russian, or at least like Dolph Lundgren.
That win must have been a satisfying relief
That Flanker paint job is just straight fire.
Love the landings including in vid. Perhaps some takeoffs also for longer formats
The Mig29 and Su27 are two of the best looking birds there is.
I think some carrier-launched fighter stuff could be cool... Su-33 vs. F18 BVR with both planes taking off and landing on their CVs
Well, one of them landing, anyway. 😂
That fight's killing is my friend is pure experience....0% related with luck!
can we get a top down cam or over the shoulder cam during a fight in your sim rig? That'd be cool to see
it's a very interesting fight and shows how much radar and stealth matter in BVR.
Love the mig 29, but I love how the su 35 looks. It's really a cool looking multi- role fighter. Can't say I don't like the look of any of the su family from 27, 30, 35, 57, and the unmade checkmate all are beautiful fighters. Just wondering if in the simulator they offer Australian fighter's, would be cool to see you do a video on that if you can.
The F/A-18C in the sim comes with an Australian livery, and there's an unofficial Australian A-4E Skyhawk. There's also an unofficial T-45 Goshawk which is quite similar to the BAE Hawk used by RAAF. C-130 is also in development for the sim, but not yet released.
@@imageeknotanerd9897 thanks champ
When he landed the 29 and the tires smoked and chirped first thing that popped in my mind was Go Navy! lolz
Very good video, and very satisfying splash with that killer shot to finish him.
Make sure to have your crew chief paint that red star on the fuselage, it was well earned.
I used to watch these videos for fun. Since I plan on getting into DCS soon though, here I am constantly watching his RWR to figure out what it means lol
I legit cheered when you got that gun kill! This is a work of art and it was a delight to watch.
Probably my favorite BVR video u'v made. 😎
Love these bvr fights. The tactics make the whole thing thrilling.
Liked every second of that fight, well done!
This is one I was hoping for an AAR visual on
It'd be interesting to see the Polish MiG-29 vs the Su-57. Awesome flight mate!
Su57 would crush it💀
Great job guys. Crank, you made him work for it. Great s how. Thanks.
A longer video, AND Mig-29 BVR? Loving the content, GS!
Can we get Fulcrum vs Gripen next please?
The Fulcrum would really have its hands full, especially if the Gripen has Meteors
Good fight and kill! That was a long intense fight that kept me on the edge of my chair. 👍
Day25: F35 vs SU57
Just goes to show what has to happen before modern aircraft can actually get to a merge. We take for granted in regular dogfight missions the context this fight just provides. Epic video GS, keep it up :)
I watched one of your videos that was posted over a year ago. It was the mig-29 vs. F22 merging. You lost every round. So it got me thinking if you used split throttle vectoring on the mig would the outcome be any different?
I was about to ask you a question on why you turn off AB, nice landing btw
