Fun fact- One of the animatronic sharks used in Jaws was nicknamed Bruce by the staff way before Disney ever used that name for Bruce from Finding Nemo.
I remember the Living Seas from my one trip to EPCOT, it was one of my favorite things there...I'd assumed that the majority of it was built underground with the hydrolators actually being elevators for downward. I'd also assumed recently that the dolphins they used to have there were transferred to their one "resort park" thing that had/has a swim with the dolphins thing with Discovery Cove
I loved this place when I went there in 2007. I don't remember seeing hammerhead sharks, but I remember the dolphins and manatees. I wasn't expecting manatees to be there, and it was like a big smack to the face since I thought those were only in SeaWorld. Florida, I mean since the last time I went there was in Ohio and there were no manatees there.
My favorite was magic kingdom, animal kingdom and downtown Disney and I don’t have a favorite ride since I like all but I really liked the Kilimanjaro safari.
I loved the orginal Living Seas and I think the Nemo theme detracts from EPCOT's overall theme and experience. And I don't think it's well executed. However, there's no denying that thr aquarium itself is still fantastic and no EPCOT trip is complete without checking out at least a few of the exhibits.
Something interesting is Tarpin can survive in stagnant waters by gulping air from the surface. They’ve been known to travel into mangrove swamps at high tide and during low tide when oxygen levels are lower they can gulp air from the surface allowing them to remain far for active then the smaller fish they hunt.
Swell! Been there, since it's originally called The Living Seas! Say, Zak, visit the Woodland Park Zoo soon! Also, 3 zoo trivia questions for you & your girlfriend.... 1) What new exhibit attraction is the SF Zoo building for the future? 2) What are the names of the SF Zoo's 2 chimpanzees that passed away from the past few years? 3) What are the names of the Oakland Zoo's 2 zebras that passed away from the last few years?
Very nicely kept aquariums, but a trip to any live fish store for the marine aquarium hobby actually have far more species. Every fish you see here that is under 4" long is common in the aquarium hobby.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends has the most underrated themed queue ever!
The dolphins are now at the Gulfarium that is located in Fort Walton Beach FL
*After finishing the video and seeing the sneak peak of the next episode*
Welcome to the Big Apple.
My favorite Disney attraction is probably the entire Animal Kingdom!

@@ransonhorse534hi

I love this aquarium. It’s one of my favorites I always go here first when In Epcot
I used to work with those dolphins :)
Fun fact- One of the animatronic sharks used in Jaws was nicknamed Bruce by the staff way before Disney ever used that name for Bruce from Finding Nemo.
I wouldn’t expect to see this place on a zoo tors series so it a very nice surprise!
Sea turtles are my favorite cause their ancient marine reptiles, so glad that they have greens and loggerheads❤❤❤❤❤👍

I’m guessing the next episodes will be one of the exhibits where the proboscis monkey used to live which is now home for Javan langurs (JungleWorld)
I remember this from Disney+'s Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom (which also covers The Seas with Nemo and Friends).
Magical video, Zach! My family and I are going back to Walt Disney World in December for Christmas, and this video is making me excited for EPCOT
awsome! a zoo exhibit named after my favortie movie, and made close to the day of my birthday to!
Thanks for sharing! I learned so much, even though I have already seen the exhibit before. Can’t wait to go back in a couple months.

I hope you will return to Disney’s animal Kingdom. Because there’s more to see!

I’m gonna say the answer to the stingray question is a southern stingray!

That's why I want to go to epoct

This is probably a difficult question, Zak, but do you have a favorite individual animal in Cincinnati?
I could spend hours at The Seas.
Speaking of dolphins 🐬, did you know there’s also dolphins at Brookfield Zoo?
OUR ZOO CLOSED THE AQUARIUM AND VERY SADLY NO PLANS FOR NEW ONE!!!!!!!!!!
