I have done this more recently. Although this is exactly what I wished to do and it makes perfect sense, don't do this, at least on a PC. If you move the file sync folder to another drive other than C (especially an external drive) the CoreSync app that syncs data starts slowing you whole PC down. It really messed up my PC.
This video is old but I'll still try. After moving the creative cloud file (following your directions) to my external ssd I accidentally permanently deleted the file. What should I do?
