Wow, this family, they take education seriously. Everybody is out there pursuing higher education, following their parent's footsteps. Awesome interview.
Awesome Josephine. I also like the fact that all your kids are now studying abroad which they would not have had you not made that one decision.Sometimes it takes one persons courage to better generation of the rest..One day I will be a Chams media too narrating my story...still on Transit now..#Daretodream folks
The rest of the world actually refers to “Africa” as a Poor country and not a continent.African countries should unite as One Country to be able to negotiate deals with the rest of the world.Africa will be stronger together. This actually calls for African Unity. Proud of you & your family. You are a role model to Girls in pastoralist communities Samburu,Narok,Kajiado,Baringo,Turkana, Isiolo& Marsabit counties.
Very inspiring story. I agree with her about growing abroad with the following exceptions. Avoid countries like Saudi Arabia, Oman and perhaps others that neighbor it, especially if you are a woman. Otherwise, Russia, China, Korea, USA, Canada, European countries, all are worth considering. She and her husband are very impressive as are all of their children.
"Being out there gives you so much love for this country that you have never had before" A very powerful statement by Josephine!
Well said
I concur. After being in the UK for nearly 30 years. I went back and forth to Kenya over the last few years and I have decided to head back.
True .
Well stated!

Could you imagine how much further Africa would be if all those who went abroad to study came back to home to build and control their own economy.
Dream well lived

Waahh they were offered a job in NASA and let that go???damn
Shocking
Maybe if they took that offer probably where they are today they couldn't be
Entrusting a stranger, a government entity to take care of your children is a crazy thought!! I can't imagine. Glad it turned out well.
