    Today I am demonstrating how to paint a harbor with boats.
    In this painting I use my usual painting principles.

    Materials I used:
    Paper: Arches Watercolor 300g/m 21cm x 29,7cm 100% Pur Cotton
    Watercolors: Daler-Rowney set. (Chinese White( 001), Lemon Yellow (651);Gamboge Hue Yellow (640); Cadmium Red Hue (503); Alizarin Crimson hue (515); Ultramarine blue Dark (123); Cobalt Light Blue(110); Hooker`s Green Dark (352); Burnt Sienna (221); Raw Sienna ( 667); Yellow Ocher (663); Payne's Gray (065).
    Brush: EScoda Artesana poney.

    Beautiful Harbor. Interesting how you paint the buildings without layers, starting with the shadows. Very nice!

      Oh, thank you very much! As always, you see the most important details of my work. This is the Alla Prima technique or from "one point", which my painting teachers taught me.
      There is an important point for me in this. This technique teaches to see a real image abstractly. On paper we work with a 2D plane and we create an image from separate pieces, like a puzzle.
