I have been making earrings with fabric and wood for several years, also make with paper or even painted canvasses. I use fusible web to attach to the wood and iron on. Then I put the mod podge on as a sealer at least twice. Lately I have been adding a layer of lacquer as a final seal for waterproofing. I color my edges too. Your's turned out fabulous, 1st time I have seen anyone else do these.
Thank you so much for such an easy tutorial and for showing how to open the jump rings and what to do with the earring hooks. That was always my problem when making earrings and opening the jump rings 🤦♀️
You have to buy the nicer hooks like online not Amazon, Hobby Lobby or Michael’s and make sure to hold tight one end while turning. Mine break from time to time also.
Hi I’m Kathy & I Just Watched Your Fabric Covered Wooden Blank Earring Tutorial, Which Inspired Me to Get Into All My Material & Give it a Go, But I Dont Have Any Tear Drop Blanks of Wood & DIDNT Know What Size You Used?
What cruise would you recommend for the first one? I would really like to try a cruise! And what is your recommendation go with friends or what? I love this video. Thank you for making it. Love love love your earrings.❤
I think any cruise is a good cruise lol 😂 Carnival is quite the party ship which I’m not into. I’ve cruised Royal and liked it. Disney is my favorite any cruise is a good cruise. I love the private island cruises Thank you for watching
Thank u!!! I absolutely love the way u did this. I have fabric, wood blanks and i will use ur method of like assmebly line creating. I also wanna add Modpodge Dimensional Magic for more of a shine, after modpoge the top coat . Will test it out on fabric. Thanks so much. Im subscribing
So cool. I have regular Dimensional Magic, the gold one , silver one and the iridescent. Omg its gonna be a fun time making & creating. How would I send u a pic?
Nice. I find using mod podge on fabric stains and leave dark marks. Luckily with the 2 pairs I made the stains look identical on each pairs lol. I don’t k ow what i’m doing wrong.
Thank you so much for your tutorial! I have a question though. How water resistant is the finished project? I would love to make some for craft fair, but I'm worried it I will need another sealants to feel like it will hold up. Have you ever had problems with it?
I sell them and have had no problems. Once I put the mod Podge on top the fabric still has a “feel” to it but the fabric itself becomes very hard like the wood. I put several light coats on.
Your content and ideas are great! I learned a lot! Work on improving the production quality (close-ups on small scale items, editing out repetitive actions, better sound) and your videos will be stellar! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for watching and have fun earring making
Thank you so much for this Tutorial .Twisting the loop on the ear wire is so important. I never thought about that and it is so simple
Yes! Makes all the difference in the way they hang. Thank you for watching
Nice! While twisting the hook, sssoo many times the hook breaks...so, hv to do it very carefully or else u can change the took to hoop rings

Hello from Queensland Australia. Thanks for taking the time to make this great video. 😊
Thank you for taking the time to watch! 💜
I recently started making these..wigh fabric, with paper on directly paiting on wood.
I make both. Happy crafting
I loved your craft area ! you are truly a crafty person 👩🎨❤
Thank you!
If you use 2 jumprings it will hang straight. This alleviates any chance of the earring wire breaking as you twist it or as you're wearing them.
I don’t like the look of the added jump ring but some do.

Thank you for the wonderful video. It is great to know why my earrings were not straight. I was just wondering if you do letter earrings?
Thank you I’m glad you like it.
And happy your earrings are handing correctly lol 😂
I don’t do any letter earrings but I’m thinking of doing some.

I have 1 of the tool kits i got from Walmart
Thank you for this video. I just have one question is it ok for the wood to show on the sides
Yes, it fine. I sometimes take a paint marker to them but I generally prefer the natural wood.
