Sir, it sounds good bt the truth is that no one from distance mode can apply in any Central organization for apprenticeship. You've to enroll on NATS portal first, where regular mode is mandatory. I'm 2020 BLIS(IGNOU) pass-out, n pursuing MLIS currently and now I'm frustrated because I can't enroll at NATS portal even after having excellent academic records. 😠

And yes, BLIS from IGNOU is definitely worthy if u want to go in library field. It would be good if you've computer course certificate of 1 year with BLIS. You can apply for jobs with same eligibility. Vacancies are less in library field. Remember one thing, that some %age of BLIS students also pursue MLIS, hence only BLIS wouldn't be enough.
