This is why I love kingdom hearts. It combines the child aspect of Disney and combines it with the aspects of adults. It blends so well that it becomes a game suitable for all ages and some see the deeper meaning more than others. No matter how many times I play the series I never tire of it. These remixes remind me of how much we love games and wish to improve them for others to enjoy as well.
The amount of existential crisis and questions of what identity means are crazy for a seemingly "happy colorful game". The entirety of 358/2 Days, aswell as the stars in the Final World in KH3. Especially the stars, who deal with loss and death and if their life ever actually meant something.

What I like about the Kingdom Hearts scores for Roxas and Xion, is that you can feel the turmoil within and surrounding them. This remix really brings it out for Roxas, though!

Just putting it out there if my wildest theory about KH3 actually comes to fruition. Imagine how amazing and ironic it would be if after Xion was rescued that her permanent Keyblade became Oblivion with Roxas' being Oathkeeper. Even in their names (Keyblades), it's so right.
Ooh! Maybe Xion could get another unique Keyblade at some point in the game from interacting with Pinocchio, called "No Strings" then for an extra dose of awesome she could possibly use it to beat up Xigbar.

Actually oathkeeper belongs to Sora because of the promise he made to Kiri in Kingdom Hearts One. Roxas is allowed to use oathkeeper because he is Soras nobody. Oblivion came from Sora as well, when he beat the crap out of Riku in the first game and because he is his nobody he is able to wield it. If you look up a video on roxas and Riku fighting (obviously on youtube). You will see that he wields both and Riku even comments on this asking where he got the keyblades and how is he able to use them. P.S. it is a really good fight.

this is amazing. kingdom hearts was the 1st game I played In 2004 and the fight with Roxas is the 2nd one killed me with the music, I didn't want to finish him. this makes me hype for the ps4 versions. kingdom hearts is the birth of my gaming and will forever be #1
but the roxas fight wasn't in the 2004 version, rather it was released exclusively to japan in 2007. The rest of the world on got it in 2014, 7 years later.
i didnt play it on the ps2, but i loved it on the ps3, and still is one of my favorite games to this day

I loved the remix so much! I love the darker twist you added to it at the beginning, it really made this remix unique.
it took me 29 tries to beat Roxas, due to my vision being blured by tears.....
For whatever reason, every single time that piano kicks in at 0:52 seconds in, I get chills. Every. Single. Time. God I'm so thankful I was raised on this franchise. 25 years old and been playing since the first game released.

I've heard rumblings that he's making a comeback; pretty sure KH3's plot revolves around saving him, the BBS characters, and anyone else who didn't get a happy ending. Not positive, but if that's true, it's pretty heartwarming.

You know, It could just be me (or my recently full story playthroughs of both KH2+BBS and Both Persona 4 Arenas), but we need a kingdom hearts fighting game in style of something like P4A. Those hand drawn sprites look amazing and to see characters like Sora, Riku, Roxas, and other keyblade weilders fight it out would in different Kingdom Hearts worlds.

Everyone has their own stage and the player can unlock different Keyblades for each character by doing something specific, such as, for example, to unlock No Name for, say, Terra, you have to knock out your opponent in a VS match without taking any damage on the hardest difficulty.

this sounded amazing at first but the dubstep kinda ruined it for my personally, I don't dislike dubstep but this is such a beautiful song and started out keeping that with a nice mix and the dubstep just took it to an entirely different level of sound that I just wasn't feeling great job overall though
