I didn’t eat yesterday much other than fruits and today I had spinach and rice to get food in my system. Hope this helps anyone else!!!
I have this stuff growing wild on my property....will be harvesting a bunch next year!!
Thanks! This probably explains why my body changed a bit after I stopped taking my elderberry syrup in water.
It is called sambucus niger in homeopathy, and you find it in your healthfood shops in the US. Generally to treat nose blockage etc. Very old and very common remedy in Europe. The flower is called elderberry. The fruit is in 'ombelles' like the flower. They grow everywhere as weeds
Here in the back country it grows wild, my parents always forced my siblings and I to pick it. After it was processed, they made it into a syrup and stored it in Mason jars in the pantry.
Now, I have it in my pantry as well.
You were forced?? Actually you were being taught how to contribute your time and effort for the benefit of the family unit. You were given a great gift! I hope you pass it on!
@@vickieturner8688
Listen up, as a child, you want to play with your friends as far as I was concerned, “they were weeds my parents forced us to pick!”
We didn’t volunteer to do it, and we didn’t like it.
They grow out back every year, and we force our children to pick it. When they’re older they will appreciate it.
@@matthewpadgett9526 We all had jobs to perform at home and for our elderly neighbors. We didn't get paid for it, it was expected! When my kids were growing up, every family member worked in the garden and helped with the planting, weeding, harvesting and canning. They had their normal chores, as well. I didn't pay them. I did try to make it a contest, fun, as we all worked together. My oldest is now 47. Everyone still remembers those days with a smile and occasional groan. My grandkids are now adults, raising families of their own, teaching the same values. It's a blessing!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
Not at all!
Can you suggest a particular supplement of elderberry? All the ones that I’ve seen contain either honey or sugar. Are used to take it daily during the flu season and loved it, but can’t find any that sugar free now but I’m doing keto
Good information, thank you for sharing Dr Berg 🙏
Thank you for sharing Doc!! Thank you for your knowledge and Generosity!!❤
Thank you so much for those very kind words!
Thank You Dr Berg!
My favorite is HerbPharm's Black Elderberry tincture...(which was out of stock for a while during this plandemeic )
I love that brand! I have several of their items. The throat soothing spray is really great.
Dr Berg, please can you tell in what’s forms is most preferable to take elderberry and how many time?
Very helpful indeed. Is it ok to take it when taking blood thinners like xarelto? Thanks Dr!!
Great question 😊 Hope he responds!
Thanks! I also use blackcurrant. Superhealthy and delicious both berries.
Can you make a video about wim hoff method for breathing and cold shower and what are your medical opinion.. Thanks
I've got some in my freezer, I foraged them in October. I might make Keto syrup or Jam with them.
Thanks for sharing this important information with us all. Take care & Happy Christmas everybody. 🎅⛄🎄
I saw so many vids on how Elderberry is not effective.... I trust this man and will buy some!!!!
I felt a cold coming on and I tried it with some vitamin D and over night my body felt better
I always have elderberry syrup on hand. Great stuff.
What about those of us who have autoimmune conditions. Is it safe for US to use? Please reply in next video.
Ive made elderberry tinctures, jelly and wine. The jelly tastes wonderful! The wine , however is still aging. I also got a yellow waxy substance in the ferment bucket. Its hard to remove...need info on how to prevent this!!!
They also made Elderberry wine
I’ve been taking it throughout the day. I caught my husband‘s cold am figured it would help me not get as sick as him or get sick as long as him. Some thing I noticed is that the aches and pains I have in the middle of the night are almost unnoticeable right now. I haven’t been taking any anti-inflammatories other than my usual, Boswellia. That’s why I came to the Internet to see if elderberries have anti-inflammatory properties. Anyway, thought I would share
DR. BERG is a blessing❤
Thank you very much for your tutorial Dr. Berg, we are from the UK, we came across black elderberry a lot , but people in the UK not really know what to do with it, do not consume it, must admit we were not aware that you should not consume uncooked, thank you again
Everyone includes this in their antiCovid stack but what I don't get is that TNFalpha is an inflammatory cytokine and most research says we want to reduce that. Isn't it a mistake to take a supplement that increases this cytokine by over 40%???
@@Msmiyagii how much zinc should an adult take and is oregano oil good enough ?
I read when covid started to avoid elderberry firing covid due to cytokine storm.
Hi Dr Eric
!
As we roll into 2021 with a zoned in focus on health goals, can you make a video about supplements and what we should be taking and HOW we should be taking them (split up every few hours for max absorption or eat with certain foods to absorb better) -- I know a lot of people make new years weight loss resolution and I just think with a lot of people gaining weight over quarantine and the holidays we will see even MORE people trying to get as healthy as possible... one of the few things we can control during this crazy time!!!
I make my own elderberry syrub , with organic elderberry from Amazon and organic honey !
When I took elderberry when I had the flu I swear I could the colors looked brighter
Is it ok to take black elderberry , cinnamon , wild oregano oil , reishi and quercetin all at once ?
Great information thank you.
We have a red elderberry bush/tree in the backyard and my grandfather would always say it seemed to help. He only ever ate a few every once in a while.
Red elderberry is toxic. Black elderberry is not.
Made in a wine 🍷 it’s delicious
I make my own flu remedy with Elderberries in the Autumn....
Caroline where do you get black elderberry?
I have elderberry ,how do you process it?
@@billkkaundah6909 I bought a pound of dried organic elderberries on Amazon.
@@billkkaundah6909 Buy some elderberry bushes. They grow pretty easily and look nice. I just planted a couple plants this year. We'll see if I get any berries next year.

What’s the recommended dosage when you feel you’re getting flu symptoms?
I've had these in my garden!
On another note, Dr berg, can you tell me if non fortified nutritional yeast is good for you please? There are a lot of people saying it's very bad for you, and can make you have anxiety, jitters, bad belly.. it's straight msg, glutamine... etc.. I have epilepsy and I just want to take a good b vitamin supplement that won't harm me and make me have more seizures..
I've already drastically reduced my seizures to literally zero on a moderate protein, high fat carnivore diet/way of eating. It's also got my thyroid back to normal after suffering 10 years hypo. Can you help me with this one please?
And keep up the good work! I share all your videos 😊
Isn’t Black Sambvca made with elderberries?
Sambuca comes from 'sambucus' which means elderberry, so yes.
I use the DaVinchi brand supplement and it seems to work great.
Patriot Nurse had a video about B.E. in early 2020.
My Family and I have been taking it since then. We have not had the Kung Fluey... I think it helped us. I consider it one part of reason why we are healthy.
I grow'm in my back yard! 👍
can we grow those in tropical countries near the equator?
🙂how lovely!!
Same here, from flowers we made "socata " and tea from fruit jam or sirop
@@fidelcatsro6948 They have to have a dormant period, so I doubt it can be grown in tropic zones. Mine go the "sleep" from mid fall until mid spring. The varieties I grow you can shear them to the ground and they are 8-10 feet tall again by the following summer.
@@frankenz66 oooh i see
It is a common type of tea in Europe.
I am trying to research whether those with autoimmune disorders should be using elderberry since it is an immune stimulant. I have come across several articles that say those with autoimmune disorders should stay away from it and echinacea. I would love to know your thoughts. Thank you for all you do! I love your videos and the information you give is broken down so it's to understand.
Please, would can should that literature?
Thank you doctor for all that you do. I am a 58-year-old male having some vertigo problems, I went to a minute clinic and the doctor there told me that I have yellow fluid in one ear and clear fluid in the other. Is there a natural way for me to get rid of this inner ear fluid instead of surgically having tubes installed to drain it? Please help if you can. Thank you
Hi, I hope you sorted your vertigo problem. If not, I felt compelled to tell you I suffer from vertigo as well and I'm trying lepidium latifolium, as well as sambucus nigra. Let's hope they make help us with this.
Thank you 🙏
Excellent Dr❤️
Nice one Dr.Eric, thanks for this information.
You're most welcome!

Elderosa Elderberry makes Elderberry gummies from Wild picked California Elderberries. They have an authentic flavor because they use pure juice, not powder to make the gummies.
Thanks doc.

what vitamins, supplements, foods might one take to detox from vaccines?
To late there’s nothing you should have did your research b4 hand and you would have found out it’s now a gel that connects to your dna but any vacc. B4 2021 it would be "Ben tonite clay" by dr. Axe
Thank you, Dr. Berg. Where do we buy it?
Walmart. Before the COVID it was never seen on the shelves of Walmart. Now they have bottles and bottles of it in the vitamin section as well as in the main aisle.
What about the relation of the elderberry(and the cytokines that its consumption increases) with the cytokine storm we are trying to fight when treating severe Covid-19 patients? We are fighting against cytokines at some point on some cases. Is it a safe stategy for a patient at home? Thank you in advance.
Yes, I’m curious about this also.

I did research on elderberry many years ago. Found two trees in public area of a town. No one picked them, so I decided to not let go to waste. Did that for a couple years and suddenly the city took them out. Grrrr. Now I have no source. Maybe I will plant my own tree. I made syrup with them. Was delicious.
How did u make the syrup?
Just wondering how ancients dealt with the cyanide. Does cyanide break down at a certain temp, or is there something you can add that negates it?
There is no cyanide there! That is stupidyty! Antocyanes are organic compounds, cyanide is anorganic compound. It is just similarity in names
Thank you.
Doc please make a video about Spiruline , is it really special and very healthy ?
Is black elderberry tea more beneficial than the supplements available? What are your views?

I do a tincture with dried elderberry. Lasts for a long time that way and no sugar.
How would elderberry affect histamine issues?
I used to pick them for my mom so we could make jelly and wine for her family and friends.
The zinc is what we were needing from them.
