For me, I'd like to think they have sort of a Romeo & Juliet type of chemistry. You know with their rivaling families
As much as I love Inuoka x Shibayama. Kugushiba somehow stands out to me more, some people like to ship them because of how different they are from each other
Heck people even ship Kuguri x Shibayama x Inuoka as a poly ship, and I think it's pretty cute
Sakuatsu is the same way you know? They've only met during the training camp, and that was basically it (Not including their Timeskip). Yet Sakuatsu is one of the more popular ships of Haikyuu
Akagi x Komori is another ship that never interacted, but some people like it. Same goes with Terushima x Daishou, the main reason they ship Terushou is because they're both captains
