I don’t have friends because they all don’t follow a life in Jesus . It was so hard , I cried a lot but now I feel in peace because I have Jesus . I know he will bring me new friends who believe in him .
Jesus will provide! He always does! I remember in August when I left my secular friends and I was lonely…until I joined a campus ministry. Now we go to the gym together, we have coffee Bible studies on Wednesdays, we go to late night Cookout together, we attend each others birthdays, we have study groups, what a blessing from God! Know that all good things come from the Lord and ask Him what He wants from you!

hi.. i recently lost somebody so close to me and my family. my best friends younger brother committed s**icide. he was only in middle school. at 12 years old he was bullied so much that he believed that the only way for him was for him to commit… please just send prayers our way. we desperately need them and God to be with us for these next months with the holidays coming soon. please just pray for my best friends family and i. any prayers help, i’ve been praying consistently to him and i hope that if i can find more people to pray and spread awareness of this, God will show us his way through. thank you for your time.
Hey, I’m so sorry for what happened! I’m not the same age as him, but I’m somewhere around his age. I do believe that God will be with you if you lean onto him. I’ve also experienced bullying and suicidal thoughts(both were at different times),but I hope that you and your best friends family are okay. Remember that grieving is needed to be able to ever move on one day. We are all on different journeys, and I hope through prayer and trusting God, you’ll know how to take the next step. I'm in sis. I stopped doing my daily habits with God during July and August and I ended up numb. I called that place "the Antarctica of the soul". I felt frozen inside. Jesus stepped in on 8 September. He didn't judge me, He didn't tell me off. He just asked, "Why did you not ask for My help?" By His grace I went back to how I used to live my days with Him before (morning time with Him, prayer, walks with Him, exercising). I ask His help even to complete a puzzle with my family now. Lesson learnt. Ashley, I do not recognise myself. Now I go to bed at 8,30 pm and wake up at 4,30 to be with Him. Because when He restores, He doesn't bring you to a former place. He uses the lessons you learnt to lift you up even higher in Him. I just love Him so much. He changes everything!

praying for you! i understand, thats how i was my whole life, i said i believed in God, but i didn't follow Him. i didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus. I rarely, if ever, read my bible growing up, and didn't have the support from family that i needed bc we were all lost, not following God, except for my mom. Then when i was 19, i went through a break up, and didn't have many friends and i started reading the bible a little more and more, recognizing my need for God. i was following Him more than before, but still lukewarm, then something bad happened in my family and it led my dad back to God and i remember that day something just clicked and i haven't stopped reading the bible everyday ever since then. that was 6 years ago and God has grown me so much since then. its crazy bc before that, i couldn't even stay reading the bible for a week straight and now i never go a day without reading and talking to God and trying to live my life for Him. i'm definitely not perfect, i still have a lot of growing to do, but i just want to encourage you not to give up! Jesus says to persevere to the end. It is not the will of the Father for any of His little ones to perish. God has helped me, and i know He can help you too. May God bless you!
Mine for like a day then I'm back following my sinful way of life. I want to stop...I really do but I keep on falling. I understand how you feel. Most times I ask God if I was made to fail. I agree with every point EXCEPT getting rid of your friends who aren't following Jesus or doing life the way we do it... Jesus was friends with sinners, prostitutes, criminals etc. Some of the best ways to share your word and love of the lord is by having friends who aren't believers, I know because I was one of those people and I'm SO glad my christian friends didn't just ditch me!? I was going through all sorts of addictions, struggles etc and not once did they leave me, only care for me - and now, partly because of them, I'm in the best place I've ever been and I found Gods love. Please don't ditch your friends, you don't have to do ANYTHING outside of your values, but if your friends need you, then that's important and it's part of our work on earth.

@@AllisonWilliams-sh2ph I know many christians who have friends who are not christian who have sinned and then they've fostered those people through to being saved. I myself have been on the receiving end of it and I couldn't be more thankful. None of us are free from sin, but helping someone else and being there for another person who may be struggling is one of the kindest things we can do.

I feel like God sent me this video. I lost a friendship with someone I loved because I wasn't a good friend. Of course we ended things on good terms and went our own ways. I owned up my mistakes and it hurt still but I reflected. I went to the park at night and asked God to change my heart, to change who I am. Especially the way I speak and act towards people. I just wanna change. My family has been telling me that the way I'm acting isn't okay and I just need to lock in. Again, the Lord won't do it FOR me. I have to do it myself. So...thank you for this video. I've been doing prayer watches, waking up early, reading my Bible, listening to Christian music and so much more. Im so glad. This feels too good.

The Lord took me out from my comfort zone COMPLETELY. I'm in a new country rn (I'm a latina now living in North Carolina, USA) 'cause is God's will. A lot going on to put it in here really, but I want to say that I needed this. 11:40 I completely agree with this and just went through it. I had a friend that whenever we talked, I noticed I felt worse and ended up sinning more after the interaction. I prayed about it and ended up distancing myself from the friend. I've ended up feeling much better with myself and our occasional interactions after creating that distance.

I have recently fully surrendered to God after years of being lukewarm and am surrendering in my singleness, which has always been a struggle with me.. i found your book, “The Joy of the In-Between” and immediately took it home with me. Later that night, after reading day 1 and spending some time in the word, i went on UA-cam and came across your UA-cam video on how to hear Gods voice. You really spoke to me in that video and taught me beautiful things, so i told myself in the morning i would watch some more of your videos to help in my walk and I came across this one, just to find out you’re the author of this book I bought. Isn’t that insane? You’re awesome!!!
Looking for Christians friends, I thought about who is a Christian in my circle of friends and acquaintances and set up a group chat with them. One, A Potters House is an amazing church I have been following online for a while. I moved from Nashville to Atlanta and am planted in a local church but One in LA helped keep me grounded until I was planted where I am now.

Yehovah has been basically getting me into this mindset as well. For the past few weeks/months the word He’s kept impressing is discipline. Being disciplined in all areas of my life. One of the verses I’ve been meditating on for this is Luke 16:10 which states “He that is faithful in little will be faithful in much and he that is unrighteous in little will be unrighteous in much. “ I love how to the Lord, a lack of faithfulness no matter how little equates to unrighteousness. It helps to keep one accountable because discipline doesn’t stem and certainly isn’t and shouldn’t be fueled by emotions. Discipline is an integrity thing because when we say we will do something and we actually follow through, being steadfast in that thing, enduring and persevering - we show that we are holding fast to our integrity. Anything contrary is a lack thereof. May by the power of His Holy Spirit, we all be given the strength to persevere and do the hard things. (For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it Hebrews 12:11) Shalom ❤️

They preach the Word and love the Lord.

Ashley, girly ❤ I'm 17 years old and still growing in my faith. Here's my situation: I want to work out so bad and I worked out Saturday, took a rest day, and then Monday. You've motivated me for sure!!! I want to find cute recipes but cannot buy your cookbook, but I am determined to work hard and keep going! My biggest habit especially as a Christian is where God fits in my workout journey. I wanna do so much to improve myself. I feel like I'm at a healthy weight, but I do feel like focusing on certain muscles with my body can raise my confidence. It can also, I feel like, challenge my laziness and rid of it. I say I'll do smth, and then I DON'T do it!!! I always have hated that trait about me: lazy. I want to feel prettier, but still, put God first. I want to WANT to eat healthier! And of course, prove something to myself: that I CAN!!! That I can do anything! Any advice to my situation?

Now we go to the gym together, we have coffee Bible studies on Wednesdays, we go to late night Cookout together, we attend each others birthdays, we have study groups, what a blessing from God! Know that all good things come from the Lord and ask Him what He wants from you!

hi.. i recently lost somebody so close to me and my family. my best friends younger brother committed s**icide. he was only in middle school. at 12 years old he was bullied so much that he believed that the only way for him was for him to commit… please just send prayers our way. we desperately need them and God to be with us for these next months with the holidays coming soon. please just pray for my best friends family and i. any prayers help, i’ve been praying consistently to him and i hope that if i can find more people to pray and spread awareness of this, God will show us his way through. thank you for your time.

I'm in sis. I stopped doing my daily habits with God during July and August and I ended up numb. I called that place "the Antarctica of the soul". I felt frozen inside. Jesus stepped in on 8 September. He didn't judge me, He didn't tell me off. He just asked, "Why did you not ask for My help?" By His grace I went back to how I used to live my days with Him before (morning time with Him, prayer, walks with Him, exercising). I ask His help even to complete a puzzle with my family now. Lesson learnt. Ashley, I do not recognise myself. Now I go to bed at 8,30 pm and wake up at 4,30 to be with Him. Because when He restores, He doesn't bring you to a former place. He uses the lessons you learnt to lift you up even higher in Him. I just love Him so much. He changes everything!

praying for you! i understand, thats how i was my whole life, i said i believed in God, but i didn't follow Him. i didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus. I rarely, if ever, read my bible growing up, and didn't have the support from family that i needed bc we were all lost, not following God, except for my mom. Then when i was 19, i went through a break up, and didn't have many friends and i started reading the bible a little more and more, recognizing my need for God. i was following Him more than before, but still lukewarm, then something bad happened in my family and it led my dad back to God and i remember that day something just clicked and i haven't stopped reading the bible everyday ever since then. that was 6 years ago and God has grown me so much since then. its crazy bc before that, i couldn't even stay reading the bible for a week straight and now i never go a day without reading and talking to God and trying to live my life for Him. i'm definitely not perfect, i still have a lot of growing to do, but i just want to encourage you not to give up! Jesus says to persevere to the end. It is not the will of the Father for any of His little ones to perish. God has helped me, and i know He can help you too. May God bless you!
Mine for like a day then I'm back following my sinful way of life. I want to stop...I really do but I keep on falling. I understand how you feel. Most times I ask God if I was made to fail. I believe he told me no and I want to keep pushing forward. I'm still in that situation but I am willing to change it. And I think that is what really matters.

I agree with every point EXCEPT getting rid of your friends who aren't following Jesus or doing life the way we do it... Jesus was friends with sinners, prostitutes, criminals etc. Some of the best ways to share your word and love of the lord is by having friends who aren't believers, I know because I was one of those people and I'm SO glad my christian friends didn't just ditch me!? I was going through all sorts of addictions, struggles etc and not once did they leave me, only care for me - and now, partly because of them, I'm in the best place I've ever been and I found Gods love. Please don't ditch your friends, you don't have to do ANYTHING outside of your values, but if your friends need you, then that's important and it's part of our work on earth.

Jesus ate with sinners because he came to save them, he was perfect and didn’t sin. We are not as strong as Jesus and are easily easily led astray.
@@AllisonWilliams-sh2ph I know many christians who have friends who are not christian who have sinned and then they've fostered those people through to being saved. I myself have been on the receiving end of it and I couldn't be more thankful. None of us are free from sin, but helping someone else and being there for another person who may be struggling is one of the kindest things we can do.

I feel like God sent me this video. I lost a friendship with someone I loved because I wasn't a good friend. Of course we ended things on good terms and went our own ways. I owned up my mistakes and it hurt still but I reflected. I went to the park at night and asked God to change my heart, to change who I am. Especially the way I speak and act towards people. I just wanna change. My family has been telling me that the way I'm acting isn't okay and I just need to lock in. Again, the Lord won't do it FOR me. I have to do it myself. So...thank you for this video. I've been doing prayer watches, waking up early, reading my Bible, listening to Christian music and so much more. Im so glad. This feels too good.

My birthday was yesterday and I got 2 new bibles (study bibles, different translations, and so on), and your devotional. I'm currently in a waiting season. Well, I've been for a while now. The Lord took me out from my comfort zone COMPLETELY. I'm in a new country rn (I'm a latina now living in North Carolina, USA) 'cause is God's will. A lot going on to put it in here really, but I want to say that I needed this. I've been putting the work thanks to the Lord's strength He gives me every single day, but there are stuff I need to change, do, steward, and so on. I needed a reminder about how goals get hit.

11:40 I completely agree with this and just went through it. I had a friend that whenever we talked, I noticed I felt worse and ended up sinning more after the interaction. I prayed about it and ended up distancing myself from the friend. I've ended up feeling much better with myself and our occasional interactions after creating that distance.

I have recently fully surrendered to God after years of being lukewarm and am surrendering in my singleness, which has always been a struggle with me.. i found your book, “The Joy of the In-Between” and immediately took it home with me. Later that night, after reading day 1 and spending some time in the word, i went on UA-cam and came across your UA-cam video on how to hear Gods voice. You really spoke to me in that video and taught me beautiful things, so i told myself in the morning i would watch some more of your videos to help in my walk and I came across this one, just to find out you’re the author of this book I bought. Isn’t that insane? You’re awesome!!!

I've received two main things God wants me to focus on: getting to know Him and planting myself in a local church I'm already attending. First off, I would like to thank God for guiding me. Yehovah has been basically getting me into this mindset as well. For the past few weeks/months the word He’s kept impressing is discipline. Being disciplined in all areas of my life. One of the verses I’ve been meditating on for this is Luke 16:10 which states “He that is faithful in little will be faithful in much and he that is unrighteous in little will be unrighteous in much. “
I love how to the Lord, a lack of faithfulness no matter how little equates to unrighteousness. It helps to keep one accountable because discipline doesn’t stem and certainly isn’t and shouldn’t be fueled by emotions. Discipline is an integrity thing because when we say we will do something and we actually follow through, being steadfast in that thing, enduring and persevering - we show that we are holding fast to our integrity. Anything contrary is a lack thereof. May by the power of His Holy Spirit, we all be given the strength to persevere and do the hard things. (For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it Hebrews 12:11)

Thank you for the video. I'm from Los Angeles. Depending on where you are, I recommend visiting 2 churches in the South Bay. One is Kings Harbor in Torrance. The other one is Church on the Beach on the beach in between Torrance/redondo. They used to be one church but COTB was planted by kings harbor. They are A29 affiliated. They preach the Word and love the Lord.

Ashley, girly ❤ I'm 17 years old and still growing in my faith. Here's my situation: I want to work out so bad and I worked out Saturday, took a rest day, and then Monday. You've motivated me for sure!!! I want to find cute recipes but cannot buy your cookbook, but I am determined to work hard and keep going! My biggest habit especially as a Christian is where God fits in my workout journey. I wanna do so much to improve myself. I feel like I'm at a healthy weight, but I do feel like focusing on certain muscles with my body can raise my confidence. It can also, I feel like, challenge my laziness and rid of it. I say I'll do smth, and then I DON'T do it!!! I always have hated that trait about me: lazy. I want to feel prettier, but still, put God first. I want to WANT to eat healthier! And of course, prove something to myself: that I CAN!!! That I can do anything! Any advice to my situation?
Ashley you are so beautiful! You really are a blessing from God. You inspired me to read my Bible last year I’m currently on the book of Job I’m getting there. Recently I’ve been really stuck in what’s sports to do and really struggling with my anxiety. I’ve made a bunch of goals and January and haven’t done any of them this year so I really needed this. A church I would recommend is The Potters House, they have churches all over the world. Ofcourse seek for yourself and see if this church is for you or not. The potters house I attend really feels like a second home.
