As a former Marine, I'd love to tell you that "Taps" is a bugle call played at 2100 (9 PM) to signify the start of quiet hours on base. It's also played during flag ceremonies and military/law enforcement burials. It must've been 9 PM in the middle of their song. All military members outside are required to stop everything they're doing and turn toward the flag and salute if they're wearing a cover (hat) or stand at the position of attention until it's over. (Also, the audio sounds amazing and you guys are hilarious!)

Apparently Ester Dean, who plays Cynthia Rose, wrote a 4th script, Pitch Perfect 4 one as a joke, aka fun possibility, and pitched it, and they contacted Elizabeth Banks (who plays Gail) about it, and Ester got "in trouble" haha. Saw it in an interview while back. Elizabeth produced Pitched Perfect 2 and I think she was done after Pitch Perfect 3. Ester is such a cool artist though. She does most of the writing and demos for Rihanna, Nicky Minaj, and you can even hear her demos on UA-cam. And she did the credit song for Pitch Perfect 2, "Crazy Youngsters". I'm always surprised she isn't more famous, but that's the industry for ya, right?

I get why you guys think Beca never learned any lessons or developed, but I think this shows that she absolutely does learn lessons, she just takes the wrong meaning from them. So in the first one, her lesson was to care about other people. In the second movie, she cares about the Bellas and tries to keep how hard she's working a secret by not talking to them. However, she thinks her "lesson" is that she's selfish. So in the third movie when she's given another opportunity, instead of being 'selfish' she makes the exact opposite decision.

Military brat here :) at 23:01 they are right about the sound paying respect for soldiers. When you're on any military base and you hear that sound, you have to stop what you're doing and place you hand on your heart to show your respect. I'm used to doing it since I've constantly been on the base as a kid.

That's the first movie I ever saw where I realized a movie can be so bad it circles all the way back around to good. I Have a real love for things that don't take themselves too seriously. As someone who is currently not creating music but still deep into it for years already... I AM WITH YOU! Doing what Barden Bellas do is really fvcking hard. I've seen so many professional groups of singers who have been together for about 10 years and still can't do that or even sometimes a basic harmonizing on the spot. People are actively searching for reactions to these movies, so I think it'll help your channel grow, just because your reactions are always so honest and funny, but also mature at the right points. You don't shy away from the heavy themes in those movies and that makes you so great. With you a viewer can have both, the light and fun and ridiculous things (and there are so many ridiculous things in twilight...the stares... and Robert Pattinson is just a gem...you can actually see him suffer through these movies. No one hates twilight more than the twilight cast), as well as the somber or even dark themes.
Yeah this won’t affect the channel negatively a lot of people view twilight as a guilty pleasure something that’s so bad it’s actually good if you’re not looking for something logical it’ll still be fun to watch
I don’t think that there will be a 4th one because for the most part all of their lives sort of fall into place in this movie. Beca gets the DJ Khalid deal, Chloe gets into vet school, Amy gets all the money, Aubrey finally gets her fathers love, etc... Unless they’re going to make a movie with Emily’s character and the new Bellas I don’t see them doing a 4th movie (although it would be fun to have one)
I think you both hit the nail on the head with this one and the fact that it was entertaining but also a bit of a stretch. I love Lithgow as an actor (BEST villain in Cliffhanger!), but as an Australian, I want to strangle whoever thought his accent was in any way passable. I don't know if the director intended for it to be so clearly fake for comedy reasons, but I die a little inside every time I hear his character talk. I grimaced when you said you're watching the Twilight saga next. It's bad. :( I hope you will be watching some good ones in between.

It has to do with with Women playing baseball professionally during World War II since the men were overseas.It almost fails during the first season but one man is determined to keep it alive. It also follows two sisters from, "Oregon," when in real life they were from my home state of Indiana. The Women's League lasted for several years after the war ends but was eventually cancelled, but is an amazing movie!

So I was in the Army. 6:30am 5pm 10pm There would be a song played at these times. First one is to announce the start of the day. Second one is signify that it's Close of Business. And the last one (taps) is the end of day. You usually salute at each time.
There was one time I was checking someone out at a register and I saw they got a beautiful dress and some nice shoes so I asked “Oooh are you going anywhere fancy?” I failed to notice that it was all black. anna kendrick has been known to always sing live during movies, so everything you hear her sing was done live on set.

Doing what Barden Bellas do is really fvcking hard. I've seen so many professional groups of singers who have been together for about 10 years and still can't do that or even sometimes a basic harmonizing on the spot. Like, there is absolutely no way that riff off at the beginning is even slightly realistic. And, as you've mentioned, that soundcheck is not it 😂

People are actively searching for reactions to these movies, so I think it'll help your channel grow, just because your reactions are always so honest and funny, but also mature at the right points. You don't shy away from the heavy themes in those movies and that makes you so great. With you a viewer can have both, the light and fun and ridiculous things (and there are so many ridiculous things in twilight...the stares... and Robert Pattinson is just a gem...you can actually see him suffer through these movies. No one hates twilight more than the twilight cast), as well as the somber or even dark themes.

I don’t think that there will be a 4th one because for the most part all of their lives sort of fall into place in this movie. Beca gets the DJ Khalid deal, Chloe gets into vet school, Amy gets all the money, Aubrey finally gets her fathers love, etc... Unless they’re going to make a movie with Emily’s character and the new Bellas I don’t see them doing a 4th movie (although it would be fun to have one)

I think you both hit the nail on the head with this one and the fact that it was entertaining but also a bit of a stretch. I love Lithgow as an actor (BEST villain in Cliffhanger!), but as an Australian, I want to strangle whoever thought his accent was in any way passable. I don't know if the director intended for it to be so clearly fake for comedy reasons, but I die a little inside every time I hear his character talk.
I grimaced when you said you're watching the Twilight saga next. It's bad. :( I hope you will be watching some good ones in between.

It has to do with with Women playing baseball professionally during World War II since the men were overseas.It almost fails during the first season but one man is determined to keep it alive. It also follows two sisters from, "Oregon," when in real life they were from my home state of Indiana.
The Women's League lasted for several years after the war ends but was eventually cancelled, but is an amazing movie!
