This phone's design somehow attracted me so much. I love the design.

I thought I was the only one who adored the design. It just caught my eye from all other phones. I love how the bottom and the top curve alot.
Nisath Mohamed I still use my nexus 5, its the perfect phone for me.
I'm an iPhone guy, but I love this phone. Stock android is awesome, plus the simplistic look of this device. My friend got one, and it's amazing how similar iOS and Stock android is.

I absolutely love my Nexus 5. Got the Storm Trooper. Its seem less. The design is clean and sleek. I have a minimalist style so its a great look for me. The OS is AWESOME!!! Google really made this one tight. 95% of everything works the way I want it to. A few components need work, but I don't use them as much. I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. Couldn't be more pleased with that decision.
Had mine for 3 years and it's still awesome 😀 Not a single problem with it. They made it to good for the price haha
Already using Nexus 4 and I am very impressed. I sure nexus 5 experince will be much better. Well....can't wait to own one.

I think this is the first video I've seen of yours and when you flipped the phone over in the video and there you were that was awesome! I haven't seen anyone else do that, so that was great to see.

Just a heads up to all Nexus 5 buyers: This phone's screen breaks EASILY! Buy a cover for this phone if you haven't already and be careful with it, I broke mine 5 days after I got it after it fell from a 2 foot height! It costs over 100 euro to fix so dont be like me! Just a heads up, hope I helped!
I always wanted one. I got one for cheap on eBay brand-new in a box. Once it's done updating itself for a few hours it's a decent phone with a very minimalistic feeling. I use my V20 as a daily driver. My V20 is light years ahead of it as the Nexus 5 as it's based on the G2.
Got the nexus 5 last week have to say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Absolutely amazing phone and at a great price. I'm mean why wouldn't you buy it?

Just got it today :) I love the Nexus 5 so far
How do the speakers sound when you play audio? Also, how's the camera's picture quality?
knifeforkandaspoon the speakers definitely could be better, they don't go horribly loud, but, it's a sharp clear sound, and its good for me because I don't need stuff too loud. The camera quality is beautiful! The picture is so crisp and clear, you can easily read text on a picture. The colour accuracy is better on an iPhone though, you'll get more accurate colours on an iPhone, but that's a small price to pay for an overall superior phone. It's also incredibly fast, and despite it's size, its fits very comfortably in the hand, and it's super thin :) would definitely recommend it

knifeforkandaspoon I would definitely recommend it! But, first make sure that you can switch your phone within a certain amount of time before you decide you like it. My cell company, Bell, gave me a 2 week trial wherein I can change devices as many times as I want as long as I return the old one to them unharmed and wiped of data. But I'm sure you'll love it!

That opening was perfect
I bought this phone yesterday as my first smart phone. I love it! I don't know why so many people dog on the camera. It's really not that bad. Sure it's not a Nikon or a Canon but it's a decent camera.. I think Samsung's saturation has something to to with this.

How is the battery life. I plan to trade in my htc one m8 for the N5 because i want stock android
I get to 15hours average use. Battery will improve on the new version of Android lollipop. It is a great phone. I recommend 100%
Cool that isn't bad at all and with Android L it's even going to be better. What about the Camera quality and speaker ?
Camera quality is OK but not great compared with Samsung. I do not use the speaker often so I do not bother

Loved the review! Android Authority, could you please make a video comparison between the Nexus 5 and the LG G2? Because Google wants the Nexus 5 to be a flagship device, but it's also LG, and LG also wants the G2 to compete in the top tier phones. I wish I could see the differences between them, specially on the camera! (With the 4.4.2 update on Nexus 5, of course). Thank you!

Watching this from my Nexus 5. Completely agree that the battery life is less than great, but going from the 5s to this, it's nice to have a full Hd screen, descent camera, amazing speed and stellar connection by being unlocked all for 350.

Had mine for a week now and its a great phone. Love the wireless charging and the clean fast feel of the thing. Camera is alright for my needs...yea and no 2 year contract. up your arse T-mobile..

Highly considering the Red Nexus as a Valentine's gift for my mother. FYI: The album art feature was first introduce my Microsoft and Windows Phone. I know this because I own the Lumia 1020. Features continue to be jack'd by other OS(s) w/out any crediting.

Watching this on my brand new N5!
I've had the phone for over a week. To answer questions on battery life and my own experience. I'm a moderate user I'll watch a few UA-cam vidz go on eBay and browse a bit. I don't play games call or text much very light there. Battery won't last all day at all. I'm OK with that since I can charge in the car, if I was working at work or at home. If your on the go and have no access to charging it which is hard to say now a days get a power bank charger and you'll be fine. Otherwise this is a great phone and can't fault it much. At the end of the day 349.99 or 399.99, got the 32gb white is a great price and I knew I couldn't get everything but I got mostly everyrhing .

Under the Google Settings app, disable "Location History" and "Location Reporting". Google Play Services has an enormously bad deal with wake-locks. This has been causing lower battery life than needed.
