    In the last 4 cards you had a lock by leading the 7 of hearts to the king. If they win the ace you have 2 hearts if they duck you can ruff the diamond with the heart queen

    Sick hand! Would have been interesting if Matty B ruffed in with the HJ in the 3 card ending - you still have to guess who has the T. If he has JTx then leaving him on lead would be right. Even when you cover, if John is able to come out a low heart you've got to guess who has the T/8. I think restricted choice is relevant here.

      You can't let him hold if he ruffs with the Jh, as then you're off when John has A10. Restricted choice when he ruffs in says he's twice as likely to have a single one of J or 10 so you probably get it wrong on the way back when he has both? Maybe maybe not
