Here is my take on the MV The fact that it was shot in LA, I believe is a key to what the song is about. This is the 1st time IU has made a video in the US & guess what she is coming to the West (Europe and the US) to hold concerts for the 1st time. Don't tell me there isn't a connection. And by filming here & using LA has a back drop and American dancers she is establishing a connection to her Western audience. There have been a lot of people, in Korea particularly, who say & have been saying, that IU doesn't need to prove herself by going to the US or Europe. It seems as if she is talking to directly to someone, and telling then her plans and to not worry about her, she has this. The opening scene of the figure floating is IU as she is coming to LA. The disruption the we see her on the ground looking across at LA. She has used this type of device before. Specially in Above the Time and Blueming (the vibration shown in the cup of water and then the shaking in Blueming, those 2 videos along with You & I as Pt1 and. Strawberry Moon as the final part make up a trilogy +1 story concerning a decade) to show a disruption in the Time/Space/Dimension continuum.
