I don't get it. So if I want to design a zine for example and my page size is 5.8 in hight and 4.1in in width. So what to do with the golden ratio than ?
Great question! One way you can use the Golden Section is to fit it to the width or height of the page, leaving the remainder as a margin. Check out my video: ua-cam.com/video/wdz7SLAcYXE/v-deo.html for examples using posters. I would do the same for each page though you could use it across the spread. Many ways to approach it which I may talk about in another video!
@@gabewong7768 thx for the reply Gabe, so is it common to use different types of grids in a magazine ? Or should u stay with one (modular, column etc.)
@@TheDudeway You want to create and use the same grid across your publication design to give a sense of consistency and unity throughout. Your grid should give you enough flexibility to try new things but rigid enough to give a sense of order.
This is great, Gabe. I hope you continue this journey of content creation.
Wat a fabulous class
Thanks !

@@TheDudeway maybe? I'm sure there are other channels that record their process. Check out ua-cam.com/users/TheFuturAcademy -- they're pretty awesome
