My man looks like he's in the ER. Got the artificial hydration tubes hooked up to his nose lol. He already had a great and full hairline. No need for the spray. And I don't get the pencil line expecially when he brought it all the way to his stache. Expecially when there wasn't any beard to contrast off of. Didn't make any sense

I never understood the pencil shit…I’m from Philly and grew up getting haircuts like this…the line comes from the line up on dry skin after getting it washed and treated…same as if you get a white scratch line if you scratched your arm…but I never understood the pencil…kinda irks me…the spray I get because some people like that I guess…but once you get in the shower it’s a wrap lol
The customer is wild for trying to force that beard. Probably would’ve thugged it out with a mid sized chinstrap but that 8am shadow was nonsense
Barbers don’t ask clients do they want enhancements or not anymore. They up’d their price and just automatically do it every cut. I’m positive the client didn’t ask for that.

That pencil was on there a little too thick imo. Besides that, everything else was on point. When you dont blend enough of the pencil out, it looks silly. I am 1000% sure he wiped the pencil off when he got to the car. Not a good look to have a beige line running across your face to highlight a beard that is patchy.

If you're allowed to, but probably compress it as much as possible the night before so that it stays played down. I used to compress my afro for weeks before I actually got a cut and give myself a taper.

When doing line ups brush and trim the line. I got soooooo many new customers come to me saying when they got home after SOMEBODY else cut their hair they went to comb or brush their hair and the line wasn’t sharp anymore. Do the trim and brush so the hair doesn’t overlap on the line your cutting.
