  • Just looking at some of the differences in editing and added/removed footage. The Theatrical version is obviously shorter and quicker paced. The Theatrical fight lasts around 6 minutes and 45 seconds. The Director's cut lasts around 8 minutes and 40 seconds. The director's cut contains added VFX on top of the practical effects.

I had thought about doing something like this a few times but I’m glad to see someone else covering the base. Bravo dude.

    I prefer the theatrical cut
Not too many unnecessary edits like in the directors cut and the music fits so perfectly

The black one is the protagonist. He's a sort of anti hero. The silver and white one is working for the main villain. The villains in this movie all look like they stand for purity with white color motifs, but they strip the common people of their freedom and emotions.

If you are familiar with the original comic, "Kikaider" by Shotaro Ishinomori. Hakaider was actually made to be a villain which contrasts with Kikaider. But in this stand alone movie, Kikaider switches his role opposite as his identity is revealed after the transformation.
