President Clinton always gives beautiful memorial speeches. I saw the eulogy he gave one of my heroes, Martin McGuiness in Northern Ireland in 2017 and immediately remembered how important and personal Clinton’s involvement in the peace process was in that area in 1998. He never forgot the friends he made there.
Now he speaks beautifully about his friendship with a wonderful black woman in congress. He shows the tenacity she showed to do the right thing and help people who need it

Whether you agreed with his policy or not THIS man left his mark on the hearts of many and accomplished many things that has made a more perfect UNION. What legacy did the orange one leave? All i see from THAT man is hatred, division, and retribution. The only cognative words that run in my head when i think if him always have something to do with shyt talking our beautiful and THRIVING Nation. I hooe one day we can strip him from our lives for good!
These events being a life celebration is a much better way then dealing with mourning. This woman was truly a very special person who touched many many lives. RIP sweet lady.

When President Bill Clinton remarked about wishing to being able to gift freedom to Ukraine, I recalled President Reagan and Senator Lugar who stayed the hand of then President Marcos during the People Power Revolution in the Philippines, and allowed Cory Aquino to rebuild our country back to being the most democratic country in Asia. Today, Filipinos enjoy peaceful, free, and honest elections. Democracy gifted us with a rules-based order with a pro poor, pro people, environment centered government. Our economy has turned from the sick man of Asia, to one of the fastest growing with the largest dollar reserves. Our children get free public education starting from day care centers when they are toddlers up to K12 senior high school. Our barangay healthcare centers give prenatal care to prenant women and immunization to the toddlers. Many of our people still live in poverty conditions but most have hope. Many children have already built big mansions for their parents and moved them out of nipa huts. I hope America will have their own people powered Cory Aquino soon in Kamala. When I see the mood in golf cart owners and packed stadiums, I recall the same mood vack in those days. We simply were too happy and enthusiastic and forgot to be afraid because we knew we were going to win. Win our freedom we did. Go Kamala.
