I included prices, tips, apartment features + how compatible it would be based on your lifestyle and personality.

I am trying to move to nyc too in a few months too and its streesful finding apartments. Love your explanation about sublet and sublease as I am moving from out of city and doesn't really know nyc terms. Hopefully I can find something good

This is such a good video!! I've had a lot of wild experiences looking for rental housing in a different big city area and recently have found better luck with sublease and now month-to-month. Great advice!

I'm doing it; I was going to wait about 8 years until I retire, but I decided to go ahead and sell my house now, to move up that timeline. I can't wait to get out of the Southeast.

Jah & Jahes love. Thank you for this wonderful and informative video. I love all of the details that you provided. I am from NYC, and I was born in Brooklyn. But, I've lived in many other cities and states where I attended College and Graduate school. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get a good-paying job to afford a nice apartment. I have similar weather sensitivities and am seriously affected by the Winter months when there is less sunlight. I also don't have many friends and I would like to make some but it's hard when I don't have a stable place to live and income. I am staying at a Stabilizing Center, a shelter space. I have a CityFEPHS voucher but I haven't been able to find a place to rent. I will do the exercise that you recommended at the beginning of the video. Can you please help me find a place to rent that accepts vouchers? The voucher pays up to $2300 (all utilities included). Thank you very much in advance for your help and time.
