  • Marge visits a National Wildlife Refuge at Bosque del Apache, New Mexico (Woods of the Apache Indians.) Each autumn, tens of thousands of birds, including 17,000 sandhill cranes, snow geese and ducks make the refuge their winter home. On this early December day in 2013, a winter storm brings 5 degree weather to the area. At sunset, Marge takes photographs for a painting to be developed by reviewing the best of the captured pictures. This videos shows the sequence of the visit and how she combines two photos together to compose the painting.
