After Dark edit | All quiet on the western front 1930

- I spent a whole night doing this but I finally made my first edit with the Mr.Kitty song After Dark, I took inspiration from a Blade runner video, and with the hype of the Netflix ramake on the Horizon I decided to pay homage to the original All quiet in the western front.
It's a very good movie and I recommend you watch it.
notH4T is currently my twitter due to my original being suspended, so if you want to know more about my edits and memes or want to hear some controversial opinions I recommend following me there 😌
edit: I noticed now that there's a error in the frame at 0:14 - Ігри
This movie and the Netflix adaption are undeniably bangers
The new one is a good movie but I feel like they strayed too far away from the book and makes it feel more like an entirely different movie than a true all quiet on the western front
@@literallyryanbreer7656 yeah it's kinda true but at least we can appreciate something else
I think the 1979 version had the best character development and ending that wasn't cliché.
1930 on top and 1979 too
So amazing that some of the actors in the film would have fought in the First World War.
Возможно, и во второй мировой тоже
majority of the extras were actually in the german army during ww1
bro fr just dropped the best All Quiet edit ever made and thought no one would notice 🔥
He did!! Check out my All Quiet On The Western Front 1930 edit, my video has a different tone however.
This 1930 version is actually 100 times better than the 2022 Netflix version.......
I've never been haunted by war movies but this one and even the 2022 re-make change a man forever
Another 9 years later, these guys should fight in another fucking war, bigger than WW1
Literally me
no its fucking not.
@@lorm5439 yes it fucking is
@@lorm5439 in my opinion this whole story is a literally me meme. Why do you think this was one of the first pieces of media and literature Hitler banned? He and nazi leaders knew how relatable Paul was. A single idea can change the world. What if german boys and men refused to fight due to relating to the struggle of soldiers and more particularly the struggle of Paul.
@@solidus1995 i was originally disagreeing with u but then i saw this. well said.
I want to be in war
Absolutely haunting vid.
Damn, its so sad how all of them die in the end anyway. This is a great portrayal of how nobody benefits from war, and even though the veterans are at home, a part of them are always on the front.
True
in my opinion they should have added a bit of swing to the arms instead of making them look glued
this was 1930 though so i wont complain
All soldiers in this movie are actuall ww1 veterans, so what you see is exactly how they wouldve done it
@@Waldgxnger well yeah but how is that one french guy going to replicate being blasted to smithereens by an artillery blast
more importantly how the fuck would he survive that
@@choppalungon obv not. 🤨 im just saying that the actors are real veterans in this film
@@Waldgxnger well yeah but i don't see how that's relevant
this version might be the most historicly accurate version, but cinemtography and emotinaly speaking, todays version was a blow.
Awesome
Great edit
Hmm this is great
Bro this movie was made in 1930 so 9 years after they experiment the same thing again
WW1 ended 12 years prior to this movie
Best movie ever made.
fact: they had to water and other things to keep the machine gun cool
No more brother wars!
This video makes me sad😢.

Still better than Netflix bullshit that ham shoes the parallel peace conference, detracting from the personal story of a boy and his schoolfriends harrowing journey through hell.
I felt it detracted from alot the personal connections, especially those of of joy and loss, like kemmericks death. I also feel the action was far too far fetched like with the tanks and French flamers.
Kudos to you MrHat making this poignant homage to the original movie.
I feel like the new movie wether it was intentional or unintentional especially with the trailer fantasied the violence with all the action bullshit, instead of focusing more on the mental toll war takes.
@@Tanker20077 I concur. They replaced character development and emotion with guns, violence, and gore.
@@FileFraud thats the fucking point. War in our times is very romantisied. Its good that film shows reality of war.
@@antoni1124 Well, I would rather have a remake that did not over-exaggerate the weapons of WW1. That was the only problem I had with the movie.
@@FileFraud how did this move exaggeret weapons in your opinion?
Literally me (I live in Michoacán)
Every all quit is amazing not a single bad movie but i still wich 2022 remak my eye
True bro

Im Westen nichts neues
MEN back were ready to die for there country
today men are weak not all me but this Era is way different :")
Humans are weak by nature, circumstances make them strong. Why are there so many weak people now I think you know the answer, so do you want to repeat it again
For stupid war
1917? O 1939?
1917, it's WW1
1915s not 1930s
So during ww1?
No no, I think you’ve mistaken, the movie was made 1930
The war was between 1914-1918 but this movie was made in 1930.
hello
Honestly I'd rather be there dying with my fellow comrades than live a life of our modern times its just suffering the way modern society is
Only because you have no idea what it was like, and you do nothing to improve & change modern times.
No you wouldn’t
