I was humbled the year I had my foster kids. I could NOT do a good job on my foster daughter's hair. We ultimately worked things out so K had freshly washed hair for their Monday visits and Mom would make her hair beautiful. I could not to save my life make braids that looked nice for more than 12 hours.
Hayden has a very different type of hair than Harper. It’d be great if Alyssa KNOWS in advance the difference WILL mushroom into envy without an intervention that brings forth a resolution. Harper’s already not the happiest camper in the picture. It’ll be hard for her if it doesn’t get figured out before hand!!!!!!

@@Noa_Gray I was blessed w Harper’s hair. It’s absolutely NOT what I’d choose! My sister had thick, straight, normal hair. Mine came from a gene pool that dealt me hair like Harper’s. My mother didn’t have a CLUE about what to do with it! This was the 60’s, when the MOD thing was to have poker straight silky hair parted down the middle. No such luck. When they’re older … it may become an issue. MAY … depending on how prepared Alyssa & Gerard are to tackle that difference between the 2 girls!!!!! The sooner the better they figure it out … but I’m the peanut gallery!! Just suggesting based on my OWN hair envy, and having it cut SHORT bc my mother couldn’t do sqwat w it! I have faith they’ll troubleshoot it before it becomes an issue. The very LAST thing a little girl wants to hear is how beautiful her sister & mother’s hair is … it’s crushing.
