To me, this was the most poignant, meaningful moment in the movie. She finally realizes why she shouldn't change anything about how she lived her life. She thought her life was such a big mistake, but she finally realized if she hadn't made the choices she did, her children would have never been born.
This is such a sweet ending! I love how Peggy realizes why she fell for Charlie in the first place, and history repeats, properly this time!
This is the 1st movie I watched that made me cry.

I can’t believe it took me this long to catch onto what Peggy says when Charlie gives her that locket, and she says “Scott and Beth” where did you get this ?! then Charlie says who or Scott and Beth, ??“that you and me you know that” and then Peggy says, so are they-(Meaning Scott and Beth are their parents… Wow I can’t believe it took me that many years I’ve been watching this movie for I don’t know 20 something years.
Scott and Beth are their children. She shows the locket at the reunion. They were named after her grandparents. I’ve watched this tooooooo many times 😅
Great movie but regular Nicolas Cage voice would of killed it.
He based the voice on Gumby. A claymation cartoon
