promotional video to get Whitchurch in Cardiff a skatepark- 2006

made this video a few years ago for Cardiff city council. i was asked to work with the Whitchurch youth centre to make a promotional video about the benefits of a local skatepark. I visited a lot of skateparks around South Wales, interviewed some key faces in the welsh skate and bmx scene, as well as members of the youth group amongst others. the skatepark did get the go ahead but sadly only lasted about 7 months.
too many local idiots caused trouble there, not just with the skaters and riders but also people walking thru the park the skatepark was set up in. the police and council had enough and the skatepark went. the ramps were put in storage for a year or so but are now set up in radyr near the garden centre.
