Nice video, very informative. I like how you talked about the social and political atmosphere surrounding it, rather than just focusing on the simulation itself.
Awesome Simulation! You are pretty knowledgeable when it's about floods and tsunamis. Recently i was looking at north africa in google maps and noticed patterns that look like enornous amounts of water swapped over north africa up to egypt and while draining or retreating left those patterns. What kind of event could do something like this and could you run a simulation of that. I think that might be really interesting
I was wondering how there was an ingomar video I hadn't seen, and how it ended up in my recommended. Didn't realize until finishing the video and looking at the comments that it was new haha.
Hi ingomar200, is it possible to recreate an asteroid of 3km impact near dominican republic and see it in that sinulation you use??? Do you charge something for that incestigation?
I've been a fan of this channel for a while and was just reminded from seeing one of anton petrov's videos. I have a challenge for you if you'd like. The Greenland crater. It's at the center of a lot of conspiracy theories lol. I was also watching something that said the ocean intruded inland from the gulf of saint lawrence because the weight of the ice pushed the continent down. might be a bit much to ask you to include that but if you did do the greenland crater as is i'd be more than happy with that.
The Greenland crater is very much older than the Greenland ice sheet, I think they correlated the crater with the petm Palaeocene Eocene thermal maxima at 55+ million years ago, there's another crater deeper into Greenland that's even more older than the Hiawatha crater
@@monkeypie8701 Just to be clear, as an American, I don't think Americans are as unaware of world geography as internet street interview videos would have you believe. They cherry pick the funniest clips, after all.

The Yalu river is the one on the border with North Korea. The Yellow River is much further south, and we call it “yellow” because of the colour of the muddy water
Yellow River: *Hey, I'm not like other rivers, I have an elevated surface*
I know it's gonna be a good day when I see an ingomar200 upload
I forgot the name of this channel and I was thinking about it yesterday. Perfect timing!
Heck yeah.
Very informative, learning both history and the terrain simulation, thank you for working this out!
It's crazy to think that the land Tianjin sits on wasn't even land during the Tang dynasty.
ingomar uploads so infrequently that when it does happen, I get excited

The Song did the same breach when the Mongols invaded!
Beautifully done. And as I'd never heard of this flood, I'm off to learn more about it. Thanks!!
The legend is back
Lmao did the ROC also take your hair line to Taiwan?
Reminds me of when you place a water bucket on the side of a mountain in minecraft
The legend has returned!
Man, I was gonna say that.
Can you do one on a future caldera collapse of iwo jima? Seems like an underrated volcano in terms of danger.

Flow patterns in North Africa are probably related to the big paleolakes (es Lake Megachad) that existed there during the African Humid period
What software did you use to simulate the flooding?
You ever thought of doing a video on an ARkStorm scenario in central california?
that would`ve been terrifying if you were in the path of the yellow river as it charged towards the sea
Good to see you back.
how do you make these?
Idk, he has his own program i think
Still hasn't shared it with us
YOURE BACK YAY
What program do you use to make these??

Isn't the river officially and locally called the Yalu river, not Yellow? Yellow is an anglisized bastardization of the Yalu name.
The Yalu river is the one on the border with North Korea. The Yellow River is much further south, and we call it “yellow” because of the colour of the muddy water
