Last Day at the Magic Kingdom & Our Journey Home! || Disney World Florida Vlogs - Day 14

Some people may think we are mad but we took our 2 children, aged 5 & 2, to Disney World in Florida! We had an absolutely fantastic time and did some daily vlogging, although I must say I wanted to be present more in the moment a lot of the holiday so didn’t vlog how I was thinking I might do it, and enjoyed the time there instead - so apologies if it’s a bit boring!

In today’s vlog it was our final day! We had pretty much packed the night before, but gathered together our last things in the morning before dropping off our luggage with guest services. Our airport coach with Mears wasn’t due until 1:45pm that day and so we made the most of our time there by heading to the Magic Kingdom Park for the every last time to ride on some last few rides. We were very lucky in that we managed to ride the train which we wanted to do this holiday, and managed to stumble upon a random cavalcade with what seemed to us to be some of the rarer Disney characters to see! It was a special ending to the our time in the Disney parks and we headed out of the Magic Kingdom a little sad, but also filled with happiness. We heaced back to our resort then where we had lunch and a last play in the arcade before heading to Orlando International Airport Terminal C to catch our flight home on British Airways. The airport was amazing for the shops, and we spent a lot of time in the Universal Studios store as we didn’t head to those parks on this holiday. The flight home was great, with Emma drifting in and out of sleep for most of it, and Edison either sleeping or playing games during it. We also had a momentous occasion with Edison on the plane as his first tooth fell out on the plane before we took off! Therefore, we classed it as his tooth coming out on holiday in the USA as we were still there! After the flight, we headed through security and got our bags as fast as we could before getting our car and driving home.
All in all we had a phenomenal time on our Disney holiday and it really couldn’t have gone any better from start to finish. It felt like nothing went wrong for us and we are so, so lucky that we are able to go to somewhere like this and have such a brilliant time. We will be saving once more to go again in a few years time!
We are a family of 4 with Edison being 5 years old and Emma being 3 years old (Her third birthday was just after this holiday), making these videos to share with other family members who live far away, and to also be able to look back on in a few years time!
