This man is such an inspiration. From losing his father while at 14 then losing his mother at 24 with all debts, and a sister who was physically ill and yet he overcame all the odds to not only be successful but to rule the world of Bollywood. He truly is an idol to all those who are struggling today that if you are earnest enough and dedicated to your craft anything is possible!
After watching this show, how can somebody be not in love with this man?!

It's always a pleasure to watch and hear this man speak about his life, work, family and friends. Shah Rukh Khan is an inspiration for me, and I am sure for a lot of other people. I hope the second part of the interview would reveal a lot more than what we already know.

SRK is a true star. I wonder how many stars of today can speak in Hindi and English better and engage th audience with such wit and candor. Even Aamir, Salman, Akshay cannot hold their own and speak so well in a show. No wonder, Anupam called up SRK to begin the show. Shah Rukh's detractors like and admire him in their hearts. But then even Amitji was the subject of envy and had his detractors for many years.

Shah means King... Rukh means face. It is Dari/ Farsi and these kind of names are very famous in Afghanistan. For example, Gull-Rukh, Maah-Rukh.... etc
And Shah-Rukh Mirza was one of the legendary Kings of Afghanistan many 100 yrs ago.

I relate myself with ICU thing, I used to pray for my brother when he was in ICU.
It's really made me cry none should lose their parents. Anupam kher could ask good questions and happy questions why did he asked sad questions about his late parents!!! Why he wants the world to know how his father or mother died! Shahrukh khan is indeed very brave to not cry on the show. I lost my dad 22 years and I know shahrukh khan is feeling and pain and heartbreak. I know how much shahrukh khan love his Mom he is excellent son brother and husband and a father to his kids. His sister is very lucky to have a brother like him MashAllah. As a host he should not ask painfull sad questions.!
