Im buulding a van saar gsc piece which has some 3d printed warhound titan bits and im definitely gonna add this so it shows instructions! Could you do a video of how you eduted images etc?
I'm guessing that to the human eye you see the full image, and a lot of what we were seeing was just due to how it interacts with the cameras frame rate
That is an awesome implementation and I'm definitely gifting this to my son. I would however be careful installing random software from cheapo products like this.
Well it was actually a lot simpler than I thought it was going to be. Great tutorial man I'm definitely going to be incorporating it into my own current terrain build. As always keep up the great work
Thank you 😊 Yeah it was a lot easier to work with than I though it would be too. The actual fan itself, even though it so small (compared to others) it's had a lot of thought out into it to make it really simple to use/adapt/market
Brilliant stuff - defo on my list of something to try and my mind already plotting what holograms we can see. If we can get the quality as per the preview video on the shop for this - surely we can ninja cobble together some Bladerunner style holograms.
It's baffling to me that the, in my opinion, best UA-cam channels are small ones like this. They have the most impressive builds and how-to-guides, but are really hard to find, as in: The results don't even show up when i'm searching for e.g. "40K LED Terrain", i found this channel via Reddit. When you released this video i laughed out loud and thought: "Haha! You absolute mad man! I LOVE it!" and immediately bought one. I follow in your footsteps and have bought everything you have made tutorials of and are making the exact same builds. I always wanted to get into Electronics to incorporate it into my Terrain and your videos are awesome beginners practice. Also; I'm working on more files for the Holos. I'll contact you later when i have a bunch to share with you, so you can share them with the community.
This is one of the kindest and most rewarding things I've been told in the hobby. I'm absolutely flattered that you're inspired by the builds I've put together I truly am! Yeah it is a bit frustrating my stuff doesn't get seen a much as others, sometimes especially if I've had a lot of fun with the building, but as long as those who do see it like it and find it useful then I'm happy really. Yes please! Let me know when you've finished your holofiles and I'll get them added to the folder so they can be shared out to the community!
Thanks 😀 It's not hard at all! It comes with a MicroSD card and USB adapter. The software to turn video and pictures into .bin files for the fan comes on the microSD. It's just a couple of clicks to import and convert and then just plug the sd card back onto the fan. Just worth mentioning to be cautious of unknown software, but I've had no issues with it!
Hey I just wanted to give you a heads up I'm super inspired by this project making something very similar for my own necromunda table just wanted to say thank you very much You're very inspirational
Oh you're too kind! Haha It's the thing I love about Necromunda, that there is so much cool stuff out there to build and make, I'm just flattered you like my little corner of it!
A triumph! Not in my wildest dreams as a young lad fantasizing about toy playsets and elaborate wargames terrain did I imagine I would see working hologram projectors.
Hey, not that I'd call excessive. It was always a bit louder when it wasn't fixed properly to the wall I was making, but I put that down to the sections not been glued together and is much quiter now its all together. Is yours just really clanking as it spins or does it seem unbalanced?
@@Zebamunda weight/base stopped the vibration, a small bit of blue tac on the blade also stopped the noise. Tried the Yaktribe forums? You’d be welcome there.
@clockworkorange1814 Oh fantastic! Im really glad it turned out to be a fairly easy fix! I've had tiny look around here and there on Yaktribe but not a lot at all, but it seems like such a big resource I should be in there too
Great video! I’ll definitely be trying this guide out when I get round to doing some more terrain! One criticism is that the music in the video was quite loud and distracting, I could still hear you but perhaps consider making it quieter?
Thank you :) I'll remember that for my next one, it didn't seem that loud when I was editing it all together. But if I stream it now I see what you mean, it is a little louder than I wanted
I always love your builds, but this one is the most awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊 That's really nice of you to say! Absolutely loved this one from start to finish! Its going to be hard to top this one 🤣

Yeah absolutely! I might be able to put it together in the next couple of days
I'm guessing that to the human eye you see the full image, and a lot of what we were seeing was just due to how it interacts with the cameras frame rate
Yeah exactly! I messed around with the shutter speed, frame rate all sorts and it didn't come out great, but in real life its a perfect full image
That is an awesome implementation and I'm definitely gifting this to my son. I would however be careful installing random software from cheapo products like this.
Thank you 😊 But yes, you're absolutely right! I should have mentioned that in the video, there may be an alternative on the Internet somewhere

Do you have a link to the app? I googled the one in the instructions and I can’t find anything except an iPhone app that doesn’t work at all.
Hey :) I don't, but is it not on the memory card that came with it? The desktop app I mean
Ah great shout! I’ll try that. I’m on a Mac so maybe not but I’ll give that a go. Really great video, keep up the excellent work!
And that’s where it was!
Your projects are amazing and awesome !!! It's art !! 😮😮
Thanks very much! 😁

That's creasy man, really love it.
Is it hard to use personnal pictures or animation with it like you did ?
Did you use any software?

I'm actually going to put little video together on making clips for this, hopefully tonight
@@Zebamunda That's a very good idea. I'll check and use it for sure !
Thanks a lot for your quick answer ;)
Did you print the pieces for the structure or is it from some kit?
The columns/walls are pieces from the plastic Necromunda/Zone Mortalis range from Games Workshop, the circular guard was 3d printed :)
thx@@Zebamunda
Looks stunning, great build!

It's crazy isn't it?! Science fiction slowly becoming reality and then being made small enough to use on the table top!
Hi just wondered if yours struggles with excessive vibration? Not sure if mine is damaged

@@Zebamunda it seems to be unbalanced, currently trying to strap it to a a weight to see if that solves the problem
Hmm interesting. Let me know how it turns out

Thank you! 😁 But that'll look spectacular!
@@Zebamunda mate been going through the back catalog and there’s inspirational stuff on there. My poor bank account
