Just worked it out. Here ya go: Intro: Gmaj7 | CMaj That little flourish at the end of the Gmaj7 is the F# (2nd fret of the high e string) And at the end of the intro he chucks in the D note on the Cmaj I think the verse is: Gmaj7 | Gmaj7 | Fsus | Emaj | Amin7 | Amin7 | D7 | D9 | I think what makes the playing special is all the little flourishes. Halfway through the EMaj bar he inverts the chord by playing the G# (4th fret of the low E string) to walk up to the Amin7. Or in the D7 he moves the notes on the high E string around. Play the D7 like this (www.guitarchordsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/D7.11.gif) and move the highest sounding note up a fret and then play the open string. Try match it to how he does it. Chorus: Cmaj7 | Gmaj7 | Bmin | Emin | Cmaj | Bmin | Amin7 | Amin7 | On that last A min 7 walk up the 2nd and 3rd fret of the A string, then play the D open string to get the rising sound. ''You know you know better than that'' section: Cmaj | Amin | Bmin | Amin | Bmin | Amin | Bmin | Cmaj7 | D7 | And that's all the sections I believe. Let me know if you have any questions.

Great song, Eric! Any chance you can post the chord progression? Thanks for the awesome music :-)
Just worked it out. Here ya go:
Intro:
Gmaj7 | CMaj
That little flourish at the end of the Gmaj7 is the F# (2nd fret of the high e string)
And at the end of the intro he chucks in the D note on the Cmaj
I think the verse is:
Gmaj7 | Gmaj7 | Fsus | Emaj |
Amin7 | Amin7 | D7 | D9 |
I think what makes the playing special is all the little flourishes.
Chorus:
Cmaj7 | Gmaj7 | Bmin | Emin |
Cmaj | Bmin | Amin7 | Amin7 |
On that last A min 7 walk up the 2nd and 3rd fret of the A string, then play the D open string to get the rising sound.
''You know you know better than that'' section:
Cmaj |
Amin | Bmin | Amin | Bmin |
Amin | Bmin | Cmaj7 | D7 |
And that's all the sections I believe. Let me know if you have any questions.
