I think based on TXL’s personality, she was sincere. It’s a matter of the principles she held that she requested HWQ to sacrifice himself. He was certainly heartbroken, but he did choose to die for love (and his own ideals/principles). I was truly moved that even while requesting such a “cruel and heartless” demand of the man she professed to love, she had also decided to die with him (without telling him). I am quite in awe with the way both of these characters - HWQ and TXL - were written, as well as their love (for each other, as well as others). From my reading of the story, it’s the way GuLong can ensure a HE for the brothers in his version of the canon, which were true to the characterisations, themes, values etc he wanted to convey.

最近很迷花无缺，这歌真的很适合他，到最后我都不知道铁心兰是不是真的很爱他。虽然她说爱他，却还要让他死也不要杀了小鱼儿，要我是花无缺，真的会很伤心。好歹地铁心兰最后铁树也开了花，回应了他，否则花无缺太可怜了。。。

From my reading of the story, it’s the way GuLong can ensure a HE for the brothers in his version of the canon, which were true to the characterisations, themes, values etc he wanted to convey.

Kathy Lee 我也这么觉得。江小鱼跟很多女人的关系都不清不楚。他只知道失去的时候才珍惜。
@@Someone-cb7mp 对啊。何况他的感情还是比较容易变的，比如他最后也喜欢苏樱了，他对铁心兰的态度和语气都不好，说话很难听。花无缺却不同，是那种喜欢了就很痴情的人，而且只有铁心兰对他发火，他都听着忍着。他对铁心兰一心一意，长的又好，武功又高，那铁心兰为啥要上杆子去贴小鱼儿聂，她早该变心喽，其实她还变晚了，因为原著里小鱼儿是主角：）
