The Mares Prestige SLS BCD is a tough and durable BCD with plenty of all-around lift, an updated inflator system, integrated weight and also great styling details.
The BCD bladder is made entirely from hard wearing Cordura material, a heavier weight for the pocket areas and a lighter weight over the bladder to prevent excessive overall weight. The harness has been re-designed over the shoulders and chest for a more comfortable fit. The quick release shoulder buckles have been given a swiveling joint to allow a more natural fit around the diver and down to the waist.
The sides of the BCD feature the SLS integrated weight system and a large zipped pocket that expands towards the back of the BCD to provide a surprisingly high volume storage pocket. The integrated weight system uses a pull to release locking mechanism to ensure a secure fit into the slots. BCD sizes small and below can accommodate 4kg of weight in each pocket whereas medium and above BCDs will accept up to 6kg each. The left-hand pocket also features grommet holes to accept a BCD knife.

Hi guys thanks for the review. I am aware this kit is now a couple of years old. It is now available for about 150GBP. For my first BCD purchase, would you still recommend?
Question is it possible to sling a pony bottle with this bcd without feeling like it's dragging me down
which is better for a beginner , this one or Cressi aquaria elite 2.0 ? thank
Can you do a review of the Mares Hybrid trim bcd? I'm looking to purchase one used and would like some more information about it beforehand.
