[READ DESC] Can you even play this on a Baritone Saxophone?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- My friend said they couldn't play this so i was curious if anyone could play this as I've never played any saxophone or brass instrument for that matter
the first bar was a test i forgot to remove before recording
Update:
• Ok NOW can you play th...
The scale at the start was just a test i forgot to delete it before recording
for sure doable. the first measure is obviously not possible, but the rest is. I'll say that many bari sax players might have difficulty, because it's not often that one would have to play something that fast, but that's just a skill issue.
I don’t play bari, but I have an alto
It's... It's just scales.
Leo P’s warm up
no.
@ajthegold
All of this is possible except for the first bar
Cap, Leo P would absolutely destroy this song
@@Everythingf-h Actually he wouldn't. Because unless he extends the saxophone by about 4 feet or so, he couldn't play that low
Well the first measure was just something i forgot to delete So he is technically right.
@@FinalGlitch462 yeah. I just red your description. If you removed the first bar, this tune is most definitely possible

Excluding the first measure, this would be a great all region band audition.
all state??? this is way too easy. or maybe my state is really competitive.
@@imauz1127 are you also from Texas? We're very competitive too. I play percussion, so I wouldn't really know if this would be all state or nah
@humanperson-ef5gm For sax no way unless it's like 250 bpm of something even then probably not
No this is ridiculously easy, but yeah
@@humanperson-ef5gm no, i'm from NY. i find the texas etudes quite easy as well. in my state we have to pick a solo from classical repertoire which typically takes a lot more prep than the 3 etudes that texas assigns. i think texas all state just sounds good because the musicians are already good, not because the etudes actually measure their complete talent
You seem like a young composer so I will let you know a lesson a mentor gave me. Speed does not equal difficulty. Some of the hardest pieces of music you will play will be slow. That being said, i think what you wrote would be a great excercise to run through, and rewriting it in all key signatures would give you a great way to get more comfortable in more difficult keys!
someone told me this was impossible i just wanted to see if others agreed, i didnt know that though! thanky ou for informing me
ive also taken 0 music classes
@@FinalGlitch462 everything is impossible until someone does it!
no?
@@noahbracht3498 no to what, specifically?
As someone working on a diploma in saxophone, I can say although the piece is a little odd, it’s relatively straightforward to play (except the first bar which is impossible). The lowest note on bari is an A, and it can go pretty high with altissimo - you can watch Leo Pellegrino at the BBC Proms playing overtone glissandos as an example if you want
Leo Pellegrino with two cones: "Hold my beer"
@@lithosphere-cb2tk haha yea I need to make my tenor into a saxacone, it looks really fun
The first measure was a test i forgot to remove
Is this a challenge for Leo P?
I am unsure as to who that is
@@FinalGlitch462 hes probably the most famous bari sax player of all time
@basedskylar he's really not but he's still very googood. Check out Ronny Cuber tho!

It is actually pretty easy to play… excluding the first bar cause the very first note is too low (the high note is not a problem).
Leo p could play this right?
As an alto, this is pretty easy
leo p can do this %100
what notaion software is this?????
Musescore 4
Its all possible very challenging the first measure could be an overtone gliss from low a
Bring in Leo p
i can play only first bar
I play bari, and i could probably play it with some practice runs beforehand
@@tee_of_the_hee Give it a shot, id love to hear!
Time to pull out the Leo p move called overtone glissando for that first note
ehhh idk about those first notes but other than that its absolutely possible 😅
It goes lower than any regular bari goes to.
@@azerm9ye thats what i mean (super low B at the start wtf 😂). However, in the rest of the piece it only goes to low A as far as I can tell (which is normal, my bari can play that just fine)
Maybe like super Reed bending or something
cone + overtone gliss
You are no human using musescore in light mode
I didnt know there was a dark mode 😅
how do you get this app?
