A tiny correction regarding the Three Crosses monument - it was rebuilt in 1989, but one exactly like the rebuilt one was first erected in 1916 and was blown up with TNT sticks by the Soviets in 1950. The ruins of the previous reinforced concrete crosses are placed nearby and can almost be seen in the video at 07:49 to the left. Other than that, thanks for your impressions and the video, I gladly watched it all with a smile on my face even as a lifelong Vilnensian. I also figured you could use our home turf support in terms of viewership/engagement to compensate for the loss in fans of only your earlier Mexico content. You're very welcome here.

Well, I wasn’t sure I’d be following you to Lithuania, but here I am! Haha I lived in Germany for 14 years, on and off so my interest in that part of the world is not as strong as it is in Mexico but….it’s so fun to see you adventuring in a new part of the world. Vilnius reminded me a bit of the Czech Republic. If you haven’t been to Prague, run, don’t walk. It’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You are eating some delicious looking food (excepting the beet soup which looks like a bowl of pepto bismol but I’m sure is yummy). Before the pandemic I was eyeing that group of countries. I feel like the pandemic has stolen 2 good years of travel from me. At 65 you start to wonder how many good years you have left to schlep around the world . As you know travel can be brutal, though well worth it. Anyone looking for a taste of Europe on a budget, can’t go wrong with the Baltic region. Your room had all you needed and looked clean. A bargain at 34 dollars. Didn’t plan to write so much, but you inspired me! Keep up the good work!

I like it that you give us some history. The view from above was incredible. That is something I would do too. As for the heat, I think it is rare for that part of the world. All of northern Europe had high temperatures in July. In the south of Europe July was quite cool. That is global warming for you.
