After Watching this video you are Java Developer and you are more saying and putting more Points this is not fair. I have worked on both Java and MERN. So this is the advise guys, it's necessary to learn HTML CSS and JS either you are java or mern developer. But when you go to backend go for Node JS . Because it easy to learn because you have learnt Javascript but if u want to learn Spring u also want to learn Java first. Also other big companies like Netflix, Google, they are more putting their apps in technologies like Next JS, Prisma and all JS stuffs. I admit that Java is more require then any other language if we are going to FAANG companies. but after we go there we build in React, Next, in databases Mongo DB, SQL, Reddis and ORM's like Prisma. Get any job. After 2 years choose your likings. I started as COBOL dev, then Frontend, and then PHP and at last Python. In the journey worked with C, Java and Swift in between. Also worked in 5 Frontend libraries/frameworks: JQuery, Angular, React, Vue and Ember.

The word "rapidly" makes JavaScript unstable for long term use cases, and that's why java excels at corporate world. Because, fancy websites may need rapid boost/customization/performance and so on, hence results in unstability/new learning curve. But large corporation wants stability and that's the reason java is still the king of corporate world.
So let's take js developer can do Front end - react js , next js Backend - node js , express js , nest js Mobile application - react native Desktop applications - electron js So if you are good at js or ts don't worry Java will not be better than js , but it's not hard to learn spring boot , I also learn mern and now spring boot and react native so you be the real full stack developer so chill don't hate any language, something over money you should think what give you pleasure to learn 😅

If you have enough time go with java full stack if not go with mern stack. If you like to freelance go with mern. Learn java then you can switch to mern easily or learn mern u can switch to java easily but it will be somewhat difficult. Mern stack is more saturated and for java there are more opportunities for experienced person not for fresher.
Preparation and Finding jobs in Java is a tough task, and very time consuming but the community of javascript is too much large now, learning became so easier and finding jobs in not difficult. You can definitely earn 40lpa in Java and similar in Javascript also, its not about the technology its about the skills... Mern stack mostly is open source and in BFSI & Finance domain due to security reasons do not encourage to use open source technology so companies like Goldman sach, Morgan Stanley, all sector banks use java stack only and they usually prefer to kept their code at databases level and API level and these companies don’t kept their business logic at browsers level so in my views most of the tech giants use java, spring boot, micro service only
I will give my opinion that. If u r from it background and have intrest in coding start with java fullstack or mern stack doesn't matter. U will get paid according to ur skills. But also java fullstack developer gets more opportunities in job field.
My advice to new developers would be learn MERN stack and get a job in MERN and start learning Java as side language and then convert to java fully and keep MERN as side thing. So don't do MERN vs Java, learn both.

According to me, if you are choosing between MERN / Java full stack. Here is an IF else statement If you have already learn Any of the Stack Continue that one only Else if Go for React/ Angular cause Java/ Node it is different in both of the things as back end but front end will be the same either in React/Angular. If you had learned before C++/Java go for Java full stack cause syntax you will like more of Java. Especially people who come from strictly typed language Will not like loosely typed language. Vice varsa if you had learned Python/JS go for MERN Finally If you are still busy learn anything which your peers are learning. If you want to take jobs in bg fang companies then you should know the following things Cs fundamental like OS , networking, OOPs , Database management and the most important in all is DSA (regardless of any language because companies just expect you to know the concepts well it doesn'tbreally matter in which languageyou are doing it)

MERN Is still better, if you want to learn more technologies go for Rust & Go, learning JS efficiently can make you explore anythings Android and Ios? React native Desktop? Electron. I think money shouldnt be the matter grab the first job and then explore whatever Java,python, etc. This video is a little biased i believe anyways i know you all felt the same also. I got my first job with the help of MERN so here i am maybe a little biased too

According to me, if you are choosing between MERN / Java full stack. Here is an IF else statement
If you have already learn Any of the Stack Continue that one only
Else if Go for React/ Angular cause Java/ Node it is different in both of the things as back end but front end will be the same either in React/Angular.
If you had learned before C++/Java go for Java full stack cause syntax you will like more of Java. Especially people who come from strictly typed language Will not like loosely typed language. Vice varsa if you had learned Python/JS go for MERN
Finally If you are still busy learn anything which your peers are learning.
And Now still you can't decide after this many factors toh fir Akkad bakkad bamme bo Karo and kuch bhi choose karlo you will not regret your choice

If you want to take jobs in bg fang companies then you should know the following things
Cs fundamental like OS , networking, OOPs , Database management and the most important in all is DSA (regardless of any language because companies just expect you to know the concepts well it doesn'tbreally matter in which languageyou are doing it)
