@Rahul aryan every dep have pros and cons....have u ever thought why most of the doctors not opting obg these days even that dep have many pros..and pls stop expecting respect from ur patients bcz we r living in a generation where patients are seeing doctors as a slave who works for their hospital... this gonna increase in such a way that future no one gonna give u value for the work u do..so it's better doing less hectic work n lead a good family life with less stress ⚰️
I am an emergency physician for more than 7 years. The reason I post this comment is because u failed to mention emergency physician here. When a code is called emergency physician only come first. There is a lot of difference when a code is being conducted by anesthesiologist and an emergency physician. Managing code is emergency physician's forte. Anesthesiologist work experience is more in a controlled environment where as emergency physician is not like that their work zone is always in a uncontrolled environment.
The topic is not whether anesthesia is useful. Its critically important stuff. No two ways about it. That doesnt mean it isnt perceived to be dry and boring. Tell me why it isnt. You cannot. Bc an opinion that it is so is unfalsifiable.
It's individual perception, I personally feel it's exciting, some feel it's boring. We cannot generalize any specialization. It also depends on the complexity of the cases and accountability which gets the excitement going up. Thanks for the comment
When cardiac arrest happen. Only medicine people will save pateint. Anesthesia people only do intubation. I know anesthesia people know how to deal with emergency but most of emergencies handled by medicine people. Only anesthesia people do intubation. Medicine always top branch
