Always love projects like this where someone is breathing new life and increased utility into an old thing. Great job so far Gary! Looking forward to part two.
@@OldIronMachineWorks had an old timer who was watchin me frame a garage tell me "you know kid, I just love work. I could watch people do it all day". thanks for the vid. like your thoroughness.
G'day Gary. That's going to be one nice trailer when you finish with it. Love your set up too, nothing that can't be done in your shop mate. Heading over to part 2 now. Cheers, Aaron.
Love the video Gary. It actually motivates me to get out in my shop and do more, since the cold days blues are starting to set in. I have been to California 2 times, in the winter time actually, and I loved your weather. Hope to get back again some day and check out more of the state. --Doozer
Nice job Gary . I remember in another video you mentioned that pop corn sounding welder , I forget why it does that . Any way its gonna be a nice trailer , now I'm gonna get a drink & watch part 2 . thanks for sharing
Thank you Otto, I like to slow the wire feed rate down a bit. I tend to get better penetration that way, and it does give a little bit more snap crackle pop to it. Gary
Very interesting. One question though. I see a number of guys using what appears to me fairly rusted equipment. Obviously it doesn’t bother you here. But I wonder how you make the assessment that that it’s still ok enough.
Mell, living here in California most rusted iron like this is just cosmetic. Definitely looks worse than it is. Always nice to have you stop by the channel. Gary

Perfect sized trailer to grab machinery with when you find something you want. Nice to see my shirt is earning it's keep. :)
Tom, it definitely earned its keep that day. Gary
I have one of those Miller 200 welders (1980's), you couldn't give me a new for it. Best mig welder EVER imo!
This fits the "fixing up old iron" theme perfectly. Enjoying watching your projects.
I appreciate it, thank you
love to see a pro at work. nothin bothers them cause every "problem" encountered has a solution
Thank you Marcus

Doozer, Thank you. Very hard to beat the California weather. Would love to see more videos from you. Gary
Long videos are good mate 😊l hate it when you stop a video just to make it into two 😢
Nice that it is flat deck.
I agree, and by keeping the fenders low will help loading things over the side. Thanks for stopping by the channel Brian. Gary

I’m sure there’s plenty :) Thanks for checking out the video. Gary
People forget that mobile home parts are made for heavy duty but ONE time use.
Something don't sound right with your mig welder settings.
That trailer is a beefeater.
