I have the same exact problem, it make the 'clikc' but no crank and everything else is powered, my battery is brand new, 1 year old, I changed the starter like 5 years ago, a rebuilt one from Autozone so this may be the problem, in my case it make the click just once and then it starts good but it may gets worst according to your experience, if you have something to add please let me know, thanks much for sharing.
My 2001 Isuzu rodeo had a problem with the starter. It was taking more and more cranks to start My mechanic fixed my existing starter without giving me the specifics.
