Tony Trietch describes the new universal Magview S1 digiscoping adapter that allows you to keep your own phone case on. Read the full written review at www.rokslide.c...
Thanks for posting a video showing the S1 in use on a straight eyepiece spotter! I have been wondering if it would hold your phone in place like that, or if the phone would slide down with gravity. This is probably going to be a buy once, cry once situation for me. But at $170, they are probably going to be some pretty swollen tears! Heck with it, TAKE MY MONEY 💰!
LOL! We've been running the system since June and none of us have any doubts about the magnet's holding the phone on place--they're strong. You'll be happy.
the design of the clasp that covers the eyepiece and acts as support for phone is one of those '' its so simple why didn't I think of that'' innovations. Looks very well made from pictures, solid hinge etc. Also claims to be universal, would like to see that in practice.
Hi, thanks for the watch. Still using mine two months out since I shot that intro video that I'll link below. Holding up just fine mechanically. As far as universal, my iPhone 11 is starting to die and headed on a hunt. so I swapped out my old iPhone 6 with the Magview and working great, so universal on phones too.! On Rokslide forum, we have people using these on a multitude of optics. Tony's running the swaro' ATX system, I'm running the ATS and works well on both--robby denning Link to my video: ua-cam.com/video/o4CHKT7zeR4/v-deo.html
Thanks for the review, this looks like an awesome attachment. But it comes with a steep pricing. Attachment plus plate comes close to 200$. I'm sure there is a market for it if someone is spending 3-4k on Swarovski scope .I will probably just stick with 69$ phonescope and replace phone cover whenever go hunting.
@jr22green Thanks for your feedback! We’ll let Magview know about your experience. Some of us here are only using the app for its higher magnification option. The iPhone settings can do most of the rest. The app is just nice to keep all the settings in one place.
Don't buy this if you wear glasses... On the swarovski atx You cannot get the eye peice in close enough to view at high power.. tried to email the company with no response...

Going to have to get one. Thanks for sharing Tony

Attachment comes with a plate. You don't need to buy it separately.
Thanks for the review. 💯
Can you use different lenses? Wide or telephoto? Or does the magnet guide you to the one lens.
hello Cole, the MagView App allows you to lock down which lens you want to use at the time.

Can you still charge your phone on a wireless charger with that metal piece on the back?
Not on the iPhone 11. Good question and that’s covered in the written review www.rokslide.com/magview-digiscoping-system-review/
