What happens if you visually noticed, (then confirmed that your PSI was low, so you filled your tires, (on multiple occasions), and didn't know this TPMS Calibration setting existed? Is it possible that doing this may cause/caused damage? We purchased our 2020 Honda Civic, brand new, and have almost 30,000 miles, yet the tire pressure warning icon has NEVER come on. Like I said, our tires have needed to be filled quite a few times. We have never calibrated our car, an indication light or warning message has never came on. I'm assuming that this means our car may have an issue, and may need to be serviced to troubleshoot this potential issue. Also, if I calibrate the car myself will I have to immediately drive the car for that specific distance and speed? What if I filled my tires and only went down the street? How can everyone that owns vehicles that have these requirements know about them, also, not everyone can or will go drive the distance or speeds recommended. Especially if they have no clue that this feature even exists!? I'm worried since I just became aware of this.
It’s on your main screen in the center. Hit the home button on the top left, then hit TPMS Calibration and then hit the reset or calibration option. This is on the touch screen computer. Hope that helps.
This sooooooo dumb and ancient. I'm going to make a viral video about how dumb honda is. My 2014 buick verano (that I traded in) had the ability to tell me what tire was low and how low it was. Why tf do I need to get out of my car in the rain to have to physically check psi on all 4 tires in n 2023? It's 2023! Honda I hate that I didn't choose the camry I wanted.
Stupid we have to do this at all
Right. But, unlike what the video said, it doesn't take 30 mins, or atleast not for honda civic 2020. It was instant.
Thanks for the help!
when you get to calibration screen and pull from park to drive screen changes.. can I be sure I am still in calibrate mode?
I have a 2020 civic and it does not have that sprocket icon.
I have a 2020 and it is in the setting menu of my entertainment system...
@@adamb.8945 thanks!

My car doesn’t have the settings option either. I don’t know how to reset it.
I just reset my 2020 Civic Sports System through the infotainment system, It's found in Vehicle settings.
What if I don't have the setting option on my dashboard?
I don’t have it either

The setting was actually on the touch screen
@@bryanlopez1084 Yes but it doesn't display your tire pressure .
For my car (2020 Honda Civic) its on the center screen display under vehicle settings.

Honda said I have to calibrate while its driving 🤷♂️
Knowing that you have to be in "Park" gear in order for this to work makes this comment so hilarious to me
I was waiting, but when I turn the engine off. The yellow light was gone
And I was waiting for something to say it was done😅🤣😂
No, you can reset from your touch screen in settings mode.
how do you know you were successful and not continue trying and wasting fuel?
Bloody stupid mines a 2020 hit home / settings / vehicle / deflation warning sytem then tap iniialise and it will calibrate
