Those diagrams for the radius' were incredible and I am so disappointed I am just learning about this now. 7 map builds later. Love running track by the way and this will definitely add some more beauty to my track laying. On to Ep. 3...
Before I realized circle mode had 0 degree curve, I used turn outs to make my straight line, and erased all the points between 2 switches and so on. If I want to make a rail yard, I use the 90 degree crossing to space the rails apart
I feel that to my soul… let’s not talk about my track work before the spline update 😅. I had to do some sketchy stuff to make it look good lol
@@Kist_This I just started playing this past Saturday for the first time in a few months, the game is progressively getting better and better. I remember laying track used to be an absolute chore before all thee fancy updates lol
How did you get a 45 degree angle?
When you build a track, there should be a key bind for “Left/Right”
This allows you to pivot the rail in a direction before placing it
How do you get into circle mode? I don’t understand what Num 5 or 8 means?
So the "Num 5, Num 7, Num 2" direction is for a Number-pad located on the right-side of a keyboard. It's like a phone pad for entering a phone number.
If you don't have a 9-digit number-pad, then you can simply remap the controls in your settings.
