I really liked this theory, because I am one of those people that learn by doing and working hands-on. You did a good job on your presentation and including how snacks can be used for instruction with being relevant to the lesson!
Isaiah- good job on your video! I like how you mentioned that learning should be related to the head, hands, and heart. Kids need to understand information, have a meaningful connection, and do hands-on projects to effectively learn something.
Isaiah, nice job! I love that this theory focuses on hands on experience. I really believe that when learning is made personal, and students can really experience it, then it is more easily remembered.
I really enjoyed your presentation and hearing about Pestalozzi. I like how his approach emphasized the development of all aspects of a person. I feel like some educators don't look at teaching as a whole child approach.
Nice presentation Isaiah. Pestalozzi has a very interesting philosophy. I can get behind the idea of a whole child approach to learning rather than just the mind. It is easy to see how much more excited a class gets when they get to do hands on activities rather than just book work.
Great presentation! I found the pestalozzi experience really interesting. I especially feel like the 1st graders in my practicum learn best when they are challenged to solve a problem on their own.
Good presentation! I like that this method is all about teaching students through doing hands on work. Many students are tactile learners, yet most classrooms are not set up to accommodate these students learning styles. This method can even just be implemented in parts of the day.
