it’s not busted. that’s just just the Chili Axe, and it has dogshit poison to-boot. the Rebalance mod has all of the changes listed on github, and Gamebanana, and it’s pretty obviously not broken lmao

I mean you can still do it in the 5th generation games, it's just that in both games they buffed the various other play styles to triumph in speed runs.
Though some monsters definitely still benefit from this head snipe play style, like Kirin or Rajang.
Imo, if you aren't a speedrunner, why not play the way you like lmao. In world, I ran a frostcraft counter longsword build and it was fun af.

@@acupoflatte8594 it works pretty well in World if you are playing Savage Axe. Though in Rise, CPP makes it hard to feel like you arent wasting phials half the time by not doing full SAED

@@ZariLutus Yea, Iceborne's CSS made up for World's base game axe and AED nerds, though personally I hated CSS only playstyles as it felt clunky to move around in the axe mode.
Wish they kept CSS being a constant active drain once activated instead of a sword charge replacement in Rise, though Sunbreak's counter additions really solidified the CSS only playstyle imo.
Hopefully the 6th generation can find a way to offer all these newly loved play styles, without costing the weapon too much. SAED spam, AED snipes, CSS focus, maybe even an amped sword and shield playstyle...?

Rebalanced is one way to put it. That much natural purple with akantor CB tier raw and 3 slots makes me wondering if the person who made the rebalancing mod knows anything about game balance.

Rebalanced is just bringing weaker weapons to the level of fucked up of stronger weapons. It's not balanced otherwise

It's definetly a very strong weapon, but elemental CBs are still better on good matchups so I don't mind having it on the mod.

I'm pretty sure that's not Akantor CB but just a transmog. If you see at 2:56 it's actually Scotch Bonnet Axe, I guess the mod changed the para to poison?
