    Thank you for this video! I think what could be really useful is "common phrases you would need when you begin to speak in Chinese"
    Things like "please speak slower", "please repeat", "do you speak English?"

    I wonder why w is pronounced as v. I heard liang vei but written as liang wei. Am I mistaken?

      I was puzzled by that, too. I wonder if it's a regional thing ? Most videos i've listened to pronounce it like the "w" in "water"

      Definitely regional. My wife is from Hubei province and Hello (when picking up phone) is provinced WAY with pinyin Wei.
