She has worked with clients such as Wes Anderson, Dave Eggers, Penguin Books, The New York Times, Tiffany & Co., OXFAM America, McSweeney's, American Express, Target, Victoria's Secret, Chronicle Books, Nike, Samsung, and Wired Magazine.
In this video, Jessica shows you how to properly plot vector points, but on paper! These are great principles for any illustrator. Don't cross the streams!

Simple way to describe it; is points go at the extremities of the curve. In other words, the highest point of the curve. Years ago when we used to digitize manually (for sign-making equipment) you would plan your points on the artwork like Jessica is doing. Back then (nearly 30 years ago) some systems limited you to five points on any curve. These days, I find using a pen/tablet speeds things up alot. Learning your shortcut keys will make you much faster too. (P,+,-,shift-C)
