in one of my matches half the lobby was isshiki including me, i didn't have him unlocked at the time, and when i used the secret technique i was stuck above the ceiling in the sky for the rest of the match.
While I agree that he's not the BEST character out of this season, he's definitely fun, and I can't exactly ask for more out of him. Can't wait to see what sets players cook up with his Jutsu. Can totally see Sukuna making Defense types more capable of taking back flags and bases, especially in the new maps, and Karma crushing the Combat Battle scene.
It seems like Ishiki is wayy more balanced than Baryon mode Naruto. also he's my favorite character this season pass, his jutsu are a lot of fun and semi uniqe!
My problem is when u attacked physically sikunahikona will not let u u keep using the teleport off melee if u teleport from melee u lose the ninjatool and ninjutsu protection..it should keep protecting..
Shadow possession working against yellow eyes makes sense since you cant really shrink a shadow since a shadow isnt a thing It's just the absence of light
pay attention to the other dlc defense type isshiki is ground breaking when it comes to other defense types becuase he have a lot more to offer. he is by far the best defense we reseviced in shinobi striker

As someone who likes using the ocular jutsus in this game this dlc was welcomed 4 the cool factor for me. Plus I also like additional input moves so this dlc was Mt excuse to pick up defense again

ngl, ability-wise, Ishiki doesn't feel anywhere near one of the strongest characters in the entire universe. But I guess that's mostly on the writing of Boruto rather than the game itself Either way, I'm excited to see what CC2 is gonna do with this character

I run kamui amd yellow eyes, with clone jutsu ninja tool and teleport sub its so op in flag amd defence, no one can hit you, you need the full team using everything they have which means your team can just pick them off. Its such a troll build
i still think the best Def type combo is Susanoo Armor + Demon Hunter Negates baryon mode and baryon mode ult + nearly all other jutsu in the game, allows you to fight still, and no knock backs

Here in 2024, and Isshiki's Ultimate still has the bug where if you die while under the cube's debuff you will be unable to lock on for the rest of the game.
This is completely unrelated but I we need a new minato or a revamp is in order for his flying raijin jutsu. It feels kind of point less to throw it directly below you & I think it would make more sense if it were to be aimed like a normal kunai so players have the freedom to move as they please while keeping the tap again input to teleport. It could make for dope plays

His Jutsu is definitely glitchy right now when you activate the Jutsu ishiki teleport really high is the sky and you ended up in a totally different place they need to fix that in the upcoming maintenance. Also the new stage is kinda glitchy too yesterday I was playing against an enemy and he used karma Jutsu and got stuck behind the walls and holy I could see everything even underneath totally black
Blackstaff = great Goldeneye 007 = good Karma = whiff city Cubes = weak, slow and long charge. Combat battle? Could be good if it can hit enemies anywhere on the map

Don't listen to that weirdo I mainly use the free character jutsus amaterasu summoning frog and slug and sharingan 8 triagram palm rotation lol there's so many jutsus that are free that are way more op than others but even so the dlcs come in packs and are very cheap and even single characters are cheap they're only bought for fun and they have cool attacks
Without the dlc you are at a disadvantage unless you have a very good team to combo with. Thing is, dlc are mostly solo-oriented and base game needs your team

This DLC can make me cosplay as adult Kawaki and Boruto as well due to the eye power , especially Kawaki haha.
I find it kinda poetic that season 4 ended with Kawaki while season 5 ends with Isshiki.

He has a dlc tier list (that should totally be updated) that you could watch

The cubes work pretty defensively too, when i get jumped and activate it, enemies can’t focus on me or they get stomped 😂
