      Thanks Gyula! I'm really still trying to make a content strategy right now. eventually I'd like to make a decent income from youtube so I need to find a way to achieve that while staying true to the passionate and mission behind the channel of helping people to learn investing so they can escape the hamster wheel of life and achieve financial independence and freedom. Really just learning what content the youtube algorithm likes and will push. I'll keep soldiering on :)

    Okay, what's the difference between just a share, and shares outstanding?

    • @IntelligentStockInvesting
      @IntelligentStockInvesting  2 роки тому +1

      Shares outstanding is the number of shares the companies ownership is divided up amongst. Coca-Cola has 4,335,000,000 shares outstanding. Each share represents a percentage of the company’s ownership.

    • @holpcs2
      @holpcs2 2 роки тому +1

      @@IntelligentStockInvesting I understand. So is shares outstanding interchangeable with shares (depending on context)? For instance, if you say Coca Cola has 4,335,000,000 shares outstanding, would it also be accurate to say that Coca Cola has 4,335,000,000 shares for purchase?

    • @IntelligentStockInvesting
      @IntelligentStockInvesting  2 роки тому

      Yes that is correct… however you wouldn’t say that they’re “for purchase” because they’re not necessarily for purchase unless the individual/fund/entity who owns them is currently selling them. If you owned all of the shares it means you own 100% of the company.

      @@IntelligentStockInvesting Ahhh, I see. Thank you so much for the insight. I'm very grateful. 🙏🏾 God bless!
