- This was the best day ever. Obviously it's been a tough time for everyone but being isolated away from my family was particularly hard. I'm sure some of you will question my decision to hug my family and I totally understand that. From my point of view, we have to be sensible. I've been locked down and social distancing when out and about and so have they. As I said, I've got responsibilities here that I can no longer ignore. So I hope you just that I'm doing the safest thing for me and the people around me!

I cried because it reminded me of Sunday when I saw my little sister the first time in months. At first I was like “okay, going to be careful” (I’m high risk) but I couldn’t help it and I just had to hug her! Gosh how much I love her 😭❤️

I'm finally see my amazing mum tomorrow after 123 days apart! She's my best friend and I feel so emotional just thinking about tomorrow!!!! Eeeek can't wait. We're going to gossip, bake cookies, walk her gorgeous golden retrievers and watch movies! Obviously UK weather is pants so we'll be cosy catching up inside. X

Anyone whose had a family reunion after lockdown can relate to this When my sisters came for the first time. It was impossible not to hug them as it was so long. But it’s great that you and James can see your families again as family time is so important
That reunion was so cute :) I was away from my parents and sister for 2 months during lockdown which is also the longest I've been away from them and it was such a weird but amazing feeling when I saw them again ❤

I get exactly what you mean i live in switzerland with my parents (I lived in london until i was 11) and i haven’t seen my sister, my two nieces, my nan or my uncle in a year and in just over s month I am moving back to the UK by my self and I can’t wait to see my family ❤️

Whilst I am not blaming you for wanting to see your family. I do stand by the fact that this change in restriction is WAAAY too early. I would love to see my family (and I'm happy for you that you get to see yours safely) but for me, as I'm working in a pub now, i just don't feel like it's safe enough yet :(

Omg Em I am exactly the same when it comes to parking!! I wont go somewhere if I dont know where I can park, I went to my personal trainers house for the 1st time the other day because the gyms arnt open yet and I was anxious the whole journey. Turns out you can park right outside her house and i felt a bit silly in the end 😅

Watching you hug your family was awesome......but makes me long more to hug mine.....I havent seen my 82 year old mum since Christmas and my brother had a heart attack, fortunately mild, last week.......theyre 5 hours away and Im in heart failure so traveling down to see them isnt possible at the moment......but oh my god when I finally get there Im swear Im going to hug my mum for an hour.
