Hello everyone! Few weeks ago I got here to United States and honestly is really hard being heree alone and by yourself, living alone, working all your day and returning home after 12 hours grinding. All my family are far from where I am and I miss them. This is my message to everyone feeling alone, pain will be temporary but better days with family will come someday... Like someone said in the comments, being alone is ok, feeling alone is not ok.

It wasn't 1am but I did get an experience like this. Visited the city for a surgery (oof) had to sleep in a hotel the night prior. Went out, got delicious food, met nice people and when I walked out there was a thunderstorm and it was already dark. But still warm despite it being late October, so I didn't bring a jacket. And it was... nice? Spent the rest of the evening in my little room, just watching. And my clothes were completely drenched when I came back

When I was younger and stationed in Nebraska, a bit over 10 years ago, this is the kind of song and music I would start driving to around 11 PM or midnight and just go on the road. Out there in Nebraska, the thumbnail looks very similar, except dark as can be, nothing but headlights and low lit highway roads along with that heavy fog and mist from all the green trees/vegetation/farmland and the Missouri River. Even more so in the winter from all the snow drift and cold snowy/rainy weather. Just me and my thoughts. Sometimes to clear my thoughts, but most of the time to think about my life, memories, mistakes, good times and bad. All of it. This song just took me back to all of that.

this song really reminds me of quarantine, one of the best and hardest times of my life: (sorry if this is long, i tend to write a lot) a lot of you probably know this, but the pandemic just kinda happened one day, with almost no notice. covid cases skyrocketed during early to mid 2020. i had a bunch of friends in my class at school, however about half i don't talk to anymore because of the pandemic, but some still stuck with me. however thankfully at the time, me and my friends would go on the google meet the teacher had set up but wasn't using it. our class also had a big google hangout that we talked in. we also (this might sound childish but bear with me) played a lot of roblox, so much it was almost unhealthy.. i had just made a new account because i lost my original account from 2018. me, my friend (A) and my other friend (D) would play and talk for hours a day once we were done with online classes. we would play random crappy roblox games for hours into the night until we all had to get off because our parents were yelling at us. then, at night, i would lay in my bed listening to CDs and other types of music (twenty one pilots was my favorite band at the time, and still is). it's those nights that remind me of this song. it's something about the beat at 0:30. those nights are just so damn nostalgic. sometimes i wish i could just go back to those moments. I had so many loving and caring people around me, but it was still so hard. I couldn't see my friend's real faces, i only saw them through screens. i wasn't allowed to go anywhere. everything i reminisce of, everything i wish i could go back to, all happened inside of my old bedroom. my old yellow lava lamp, my old bunk bed, my old bird cage, my old carpet. all of those nights i spent alone, in silence. that one night i pulled an all-nighter. it all just feels like this song. i know it sounds sad, but those were some of the best days of my life. through the horrible things going on in the news, george floyd protests, covid cases, i still made the best of what i had, and i am so proud of myself for that. my time during quarantine could have been horrible, but I didn't let it. and i didn't even know it at the time. thank you for reading my long comment, i hope you enjoyed my story. sorry if it was long.

I couldn't see my friend's real faces, i only saw them through screens. i wasn't allowed to go anywhere. everything i reminisce of, everything i wish i could go back to, all happened inside of my old bedroom. my old yellow lava lamp, my old bunk bed, my old bird cage, my old carpet. all of those nights i spent alone, in silence. that one night i pulled an all-nighter. it all just feels like this song. i know it sounds sad, but those were some of the best days of my life. through the horrible things going on in the news, george floyd protests, covid cases, i still made the best of what i had, and i am so proud of myself for that. my time during quarantine could have been horrible, but I didn't let it. and i didn't even know it at the time.

Yuh i feel this on another lvl i had my zoom classes which i would just sleep thru but once they were done i would quickscope on warzone all day with the squad i used to always get accused of hacking too man those were the days😔
