On the ADP thing. to be fair, if you haven't done any research or already know about it, there really isn't any reason why you would level ADP. There is literally zero indication that it effects s.
My first playthrough of ds2 i knew nothing about adp so i didn't level it at all. I leveled Vit to wear the Smelter armor, greatsword, and a tower shield while still med rolling in my run. Recently got back into the game and Adp is a must have after leveling it. Im enjoying seeing the differences between the original and SotFS in this video
Day #267 I have failed to get past the 7 minute mark in this video....I just can't seem to admire the opening no matter how many times I try 😭😭 I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭
Lenny I need to know what is the armor that you're using in your for the dark souls characters at the beginning of your experiencing code vien and dragons dogma etc series
it's a bit unfair how you're like "how did you die so many times when you're giving such good advice" it's because they had to figure it out themselves by trial and error
I actually played and beat darksouls 2(was my first darksouls game) with mouse and keyboard and its mostly a matter of getting used to it, only problems i had was the xbox controller prompts for actions and tutorial messages the mouse look speed wasnt much of an issue
I have started my journey with DS2 few days ago and this is First guide where is obvious no more wooden bridge shortcut in no man's wharf... i was so confuse cos i was watching other walkthrougs and there are little changes with enemies, locations, place of summoning npc's... i was started to thinking that i have wrong version of the game or else..
I usually fully complete a souls game before watching any guide, video, anything about it. I have to tell you, i did complete ds2 softs with 3adp and no lifegems....
On the intro cutscenes. I think one with the best... intro (to the intro) is Dark Souls 3 (Yes, indeed. Literally never skip it before she says that :P) Dark Souls 2 is by far the most mysterious (it also sets up that DS2 is about YOUR journey, not about some particular quartet of bosses) The DS1 cutscene I honestlty don't think ever held my attention at all but the very end of it is pretty good... (scrambling to find good things to say about it because people will crucify me if I don't say good things about DS1) As for ER... honestly, yeah, it was kinda weird wasn't it. It has by far the most energy of the four but I do believe I prefer the calm, presentation of Pik Sen Lim. She sounds like she's telling a story. the ER cinematic is a lot more... well, cinematic, even though it's the only one using still images. :P
I'm normally someone against using a controller in most PC games, but for Dark Souls games it's definitely a better experience, especially one with extra paddles on the back for binding stuff like roll/jump/run to, there's not really much upside to using KBM, also it was kinda painful to see him not change mouse sensitivity, it is in a stupid place but it can definitely be lowered, the "camera sensitivity" only applies to controller but there's a seperate mouse sensitivity setting in key bindings The worst part is that the control prompts just dont exist for anything except Xbox, there are mods to add prompts for playstation controller and KBM and they at least added KBM prompts with DS3 and future games

You know people keep talking about how ign didn't know about ADP but people still think Poise doesn't do anything in DS3.
